Chapter Twenty two:I love you

I kissed him back. I don't know why I was though. I just met him, but this felt right.

He let's go of me and we pulled away.

" I'm so sorry,I shouldn't have..." He started.

" It okay." I respond.

" You sure? Cause I would like to do that again." He smirked.

" haha you wish" I playfully punched him.

" Ouch that hurts " he pretends and winks at me.

" Common " I dragged him and kissed him just like a peck but he deepens it.

It felt like we made out through out the entire night.

3:00am.

" That's enough" I murmur laughing.

" Common" he pouts.

I put my finger on his swollen lips and involuntary bit my lips.

" We should get some rest. Tomorrow we have to be early to see Gemma." I said standing up adjusting my top.

" common come here just one last Time" he begs.

" No " I said
" I gotta sleep. Sleeping the guest room okay? See you tomorrow." I yawn.

I was going upstairs like I said but he drags me back and kisses me.

I automatically wrapped my body again him.

I jumped and wrapped my leg around him. My hand wrapped around his neck.

" seriously we should stop" I said. But more like ' no i don't want u to stop'

" Okay, " he said. " let's take you upstairs. " he was moving upstairs.

I landed on a soft spot that I guess was the bed.

He then dropped me. I unwrapped myself and then I pouted when he let's go.

" Goodnight" and then he pecked my lips one last time.

" Goodnight." I smiled.

He was already on his way out when he stopped.

" Hey?" He called.

" Yeah?" I answered.

" Wanna go out with me on Saturday night?" He asked.

" Sure why not" I smiled. I think more than usual.

" It a date" he said, and he left.

" it a date." I whispered to my self. And then I wrapped myself with my blanket and squealed.

Gemma POV.

I was on my bed deep in thought. When I saw my mom and dad came into my ward.

" Mum?" I stood up.

" Hey princess." She gave me a hug and a kiss on my forehead.

" My princess, how you doing." My dad hugged both of us.

" I'm fine dad. Mum" I answered taking in their hugs.

" I can't wait for you to come back home" my dad rubbed my arm and kissed my forehead.

" Me too dad,me too " I said smiling at him but sadly.

I guess my voice was down cause my mum noticed.

" what's wrong honey?" She asked.

My dad sat at the side of my bed my mum sat next to me on the bed.

" Nothing mum, I just missed you and dad so much. " I said.

" oh honey" she cooed and hugged me one more time.

And then I burst into tears.

" I'm so sorry mum, I had no choice I had to do it" I said crying harder.

" what do you mean honey." She looks at me.

" Nothing mum. I just love you guys so much. Thank you for being my parents. I really am the luckiest person alive. " I held her tighter. My dad stood up and hugged us one more time.

After thirty minutes of trying to calm me down from crying. I finally gave it up.

" I brought food for you baby. You must be hungry." Mum said opening a bag I presume is where the food is.

" Thanks mum I'm starving. " I brought out my tray so she could place the food on.
" I missed your food so much" I inhaled the served food.

That aroma that wakes your whole body up.

" Eat slowly dear." My mum rubbed my back .

" mmmmmdhdbhs" i muffled.

" What was that honey?". My mum asked.

" Delicious" I said after swallowing the bit in my mouth. " Dad you should try this." I said.

" Don't worry honey. I ate it already" my dad laughed.

" Okay, more for me. " I said smiling.

I know I still behave like a child, but this is probably the last time I'll be able to do this.

" Honey, take it easy." My mum scolded.

" But mum.." I pouted.

" Here" she gave me a glass of water.

I gulped the whole glass.

After I had finished my food. I remembered someone wasn't here. I had to ask. I don't have much time left.

" Mum?"

" Yes princess"

" When will Gina get here?" I asked.

" She'll be here tomorrow sweetie, she's exhausted from work so we told her to get some rest. Don't worry you'll see her soon." She answered.

I just smiled and nodded.

I hope I do see her.

I have just ten more hours. I hope she makes it.

Neil POV.

I feel bad that she has to leave her family behind, it not fair why should it be like this. She doesn't deserve this.

All my years of work, I never felt attached to any spirit I escorted. I just don't look into their eyes I just take them to the GATE. and when they are gone I work away. But with her it felt different. I looked into her eyes and I saw that innocence in her. She doesn't deserve this. I know I'll be able to be with her if she dies but, that's just being greedy, yes, I wanna be with her but, not this way.

I have to do something about it, I have to talk to HIM. I know what to do. I just have six hours left. I have to save her. Even if it means I have to give up something that means so much.

It probably the best. I gave Gemma one more look and I left the hospital. She didn't know I was there the whole time her mum and dad were there. She looked so happy, I'm not ready to let her give that up.

She may be in love with me and be happy but she'll never be as happy as she is with her family right now.

I have to do something and fast.
