"Rose, wake up" someone whispered. I groaned sleepily, opening my eyes to see a smiling Luke.

"Morning sleepy" he laughed, kissing my forehead lightly. He laid his head back down, and I took this moment to just look at him. The slight acne on his chin, among the light facial hair. His eyes shone back at me as I smiled at him.

"Morning" I finally responded, leaning into his chest. He brushed my hair behind my ear, making me blush as his hand brushed my cheek.

"We should go out today" he said suddenly.

"Luke, it's Tuesday. We have school" I said and he laughed.

"You're not going to school, and neither am I" he said simply.

"Luke, we can't just ditch!" I exclaimed and he sighed.

"Please Rose? For me?" he asked and I shrugged.

"Fine, what are we doing?" I asked, cuddling into him.

"Go out for food?" he asked and my heart sunk.

"Y-You sure?" I asked, my heart beating faster.

"Or we could go watch a movie?" he suggested and I nodded rapidly.

"Movie" I said quickly.

"What do you want for breakfast?" I asked him, after hearing his stomach make loud noises.

"Anything" he smiled, standing up and lifting me into a hug.

"Come on, I'll make you some toast" I giggled, pulling him downstairs. I walked into the kitchen, letting go of Luke's hand and making toast. My stomach rumbled at the smell, but I took a few deep breaths instead. I buttered the toast, handing it to him. He offered me a bite, but I just shook my head. We sat down at the table, sitting across from each other.

"Why aren't we going to school?" I asked.

"So we could do something together, especially after last night" he said, between bites of toast.

"What are we watching?"

"Whatever you want"

"I don't mind"

"Horror?"

"Horror" I smiled. Horror movies were one of my favourite things. Luke finished his toast, placing the plate in the sink before walking upstairs with me. I grabbed some clean clothes, handing Luke some of Finn's clothes.

"Do you want to change in here, or the bathroom?" I asked and he thought for a second.

"Here" he said, and I nodded, walking towards the bathroom. He gripped my hand, pulling me back.

"Together" he said and I shook my head.

"No, Luke. I don't want you to see the scars" I said but he shook his head back, shutting the door.

"I've seen them. It's not going to be weird Rose, unless you make it weird" he said and I sighed.

"At least turn around" I said and he smiled, nodding. He turned around, as I quickly pulled my top off and replacing it with a clean jumper. I slipped my jeans off, the stiff material scratching my legs. I winced slightly at the feeling of the cuts reopening.

"Rose, are you okay?" Luke asked, turning around. I spun around, facing him. He was already in jeans, as he threw a shirt on. I stood trembling, in just a jumper and my underwear. His eyes grazed over my thighs, his eyes watering at the many scars. I bowed my head in shame, tears dripping onto the carpet by my feet. He placed a hand on my shoulder, tilting my head up to face him.

"I-I-" I stuttered.

"Don't cry again, please" he whispered, as his own tears fell.

"I'm so sorry" I said quietly, burying my head in his chest.

"Don't be sorry, because it's not your fault" he said, holding me tightly. I didn't say anything after that, just quiet sobs muffled into his shirt. He whispered soothing words into my ear, gently rubbing my back. I felt my head swirl, my knees getting weak. I fell slightly into him, and he pulled me up.

"Rose, you alright?" he asked and I nodded, not daring to speak. He lifted me carefully to my bed, sitting me on the side of it.

"Rose, when was the last time you ate something?" he asked, taking my hand gently in his.

"Yesterday" I lied, biting my lip slightly.

"Rose. I'll ask again. When was the last time you ate something?" he asked again, and I sighed.

"Two days ago. I'm fine Luke, calm down" I said sadly, my voice barely a whisper.

"I don't appreciate you lying to me" he croaked out, and I stood up, pulling a pair of leggings on.

"Luke, you don't know me. You can't bully me, then just waltz into my life like nothing happened!" I said angrily and he stood beside me.

"I'm not saying that, Rose"

"Then what are you saying?"

"I can't lose you" he croaked out and I sighed.

"I was lost a long time ago"
