I head downstairs with Michael behind me of course
I can't believe I have a guardian angel, it's cool but also sucks because I always thought I had some super power or something

On the Bright side, WILLIAM IS COMING, I'm literally the happiest person in the world, it's finally my chance to get him to notice me
" stop smiling, you look like a Cheshire cat " Michael grumbles behind me
I scowl at him at flip him the bird and he just chuckles
"Kendra why are you doing your poopy face" Kendrick asks busting out of no where and Michael just burst out laughing
What do you know? Who would have thought the jerk has a sense of humor
I just ignore them both and wait the important guests to arrive........ I'm talking about William by the way
The door bell rings, and I practically sprint to the door "I'll get it!"
"Wow the lazy hippo runs" Michael stands beside me again
"Ugh do you have to be everywhere?" I ask straightening my dress
"Why yes, and do you always leave your guest waiting at the door?"
"Oh shit"
I open the door, and I see William standing in front of me in his all handsome glory. Dang this boy is handsome
"Baby!" Ugh I forgot she's here too
Lacey pushes me out of the way and ran and hugged Kendrick
"Oh it's no problem Lacey, I'm sure you didn't me to push me bitch" I mutter under my breath, I hear someone chuckle and to my dismay it was William
"Don't worry she does it to everybody" he whispers and we both laugh
"Ugh I'm going to be sick" Michael groans
And of course with my stupid luck I trip on my brothers baseball, how the hell did that get there
But thankfully Michael stops me before I trip, hopefully William didn't see that
"Thanks"
"For what"
Oh shit I forgot they can't see him

"Uh for coming"
"Um thanks?"
Michael just sighs and rolls his eyes
I'm embarrassed of me too Michael
"Lacey my mom's in the kitchen, why don't you head in there and say hi" he says to Lacey and then turns to William and I " so let's go to the dining room"
Well so far so good I guess
Lacey and my mum both come into the dining room with trays of food and we all dig in, but of course my mum being my mum starts the most embarrassing conversation
"Well I must say kendra, William here is much more handsome than you described him to be" my mum gushes
I choke on the juice I was drinking and stare at my mum wide eyed
"Mum.. " I try to stop her, but William speaks before I could say anything
"She talks about me?" He asks smiling
"Oh yes" this time Kendrick chips in "all the time, like how cute you looked today, the nice Thing you said to her in the lab, you know stuff like that"
Can the ground just swallow me whole?
Michael just stands there chuckling
I think my face beats the colour of a tomato
Then I felt someone hold my hand under the table I turned and I saw William smiling at me
OK so this dinner is not that bad, I smile back
"So Lacey, how's everything, I hope my son treats you Right" my mum turns her attention to Lacey
Oh this should be fun
"Yes he treats me like a princess, and oh the things he does to my body" she says smiling
Kendrick chokes on his drink, William sits there trying not to laugh and my mum's just looking at her all wide eyed
"Oh really tell us everything" I say in mock excitement
"No no no, let's just finish our dinner yea" my mum interrupts before she scars our brains forever
The rest of the dinner was spent in silence except for the occasional small talks here and there.
And did I mention that William held my hand all night?
Well he did
After dinner I walked William to the door
"I had fun tonight kendra" he says smiling
"Really?"
"Yea, except for the part where my sister filled us in on hers and your brothers' sexual rendezvous,"
I laughed while Michael rolled his eyes and gagged

"This was amazing but I was thinking I'd you would like to go out to dinner sometime, you know just me and you?" He asks nervously
Did my crush since forever just ask me out?

Oh my God what do I do?
"Answer dork!" Michael exclaims

"Kendra?"
I was still shocked
So I just smiled and nodded
"Is that a yes?"
"Um yeah sorry, I would love to have dinner with you William"
He exhales "well great, see you at school tomorrow" and then he kisses me on my cheek
I smile and close the door but of course I trip and finally fall on the floor
"Aren't you supposed to help me?, guardian angel" I squint my eyes at him getting up from the floor
"Yeah but where's the fun in that" he says smirking " besides you're supposed to be bruising but you aren't, you're welcome "
"Whatever, I'm going to bed"
"Aren't you going to shower first"
I scoff and ignore him
