"Long ago, in a distant land, there lived a King, his wife and two children. He ruled the entire kingdom and was loved by all. Tis was the time where all other supernatural creatures lived on earth.

The children were a set of twins who loved being together. A boy, and a girl. The boy always attended to his royal duties and followed the steps of the King as the successor to the throne. His sister, however was a rare sort of princess. Instead of performing her duties, she would find a way to 'ditch' them and play in meadows and gardens due to her love for nature.
"That same love was also extended to the entire household and so all came to love her. Her brother eas very proud of her, but it saddened him to see her neglecting her royal duties.
One day, she met a boy in one of her favourite meadows.
"Who are you??"
"I'm not from around here." he asked.
"I'm ..."
"Didn't ask."
"You don't have to be so rude. You could be killed on sight, you know?"
He was silent.
"Why are you in my space?"
"Did you buy it?"
"I just may. "
"I like your spirit."
"Thanks. I like you too. I want you to be my friend from today."

"Hey! You came!!"

She grinned.
"Did you think I'd leave you??"
He sighed sadly.
"People always do."
"Well I won't!"
"Why are you here??  Shouldn't you be doing your princess duties?"
"I should,  but it's not necessary. Besides, it's not like I'm going to succeed the throne or anything. It's been three months since we last met."
He gazed down and smiled sadly.

"That's not possible."
"Why?!"
"The worlds we come from...our kind...are far apart. We can never be together."
"But I still want you to be with me..." She whined. He smiled and chucked her chin.
"You have a lovely pout. You're fire and wind at the same time."
She didn't get what he meant by that but ignored the whole thing.
After much persuasion and continous words of encouragement, he finally agreed to meet with her family.
While the Queen was taken by the charming young man, the King and the Prince strongly disliked the boy on sight.
The Prince pulled his sister aside.
"What is the meaning of this??  We leave you to be on your own and you drag trash home?  Whatever happened to the guards I sent after you??"
"Oh, so they were guards! I thought they were intruders so I dealt with them. You can find them in the infirmary of the castle. I think I must have given the healers a serious job." She grinned.
"Where did you learn to fight like..."
"He taught me everything I know!!" The Princess pointed at the boy.
"Can he stay here??" She asked her mother.
"I don't see why not. After all, you have been so lonely without any friends. This is a rather splendid opportunity!" The Queen clapped her hands. The King remained silent although the boy could see the burning questions in his eyes.
The King and Prince showed no hotility towards the boy since the Queen and princess seemed to be fond of him.

"Obviously?' I stated. 'What girl in her right mind would resist a guy that hot?"
"I didn't say." He said then continued. "Through some investigation, it was discovered that there boy wasn't all that he seemed to be. It turns out he was a vampire. A filthy blood sucking leech!" His face twisted into a mask of pure hatred.

The King was informed and sent mercenaries to get rid of him. The princess tried to save the boy as she'd grown to love him, but the King captured and reprimanded her seriously, forbidding all contact between her and the boy.
But the girl, being as stubborn as a mule, had to keep seeing him until she was caught by her brother.'

"What an overprotective brother, I mean, like invasion much?" I told him sipping fruit wine from a gilden goblet in front of me.
"Hey this really tastes good!!"
He almost cracked a smile and covered it up with a cough.
"So you can actually smile?" I said. He scoffed and continued.

"The lad however, also tied to see the princess but due to his lack of expertise, he was caught and it was pronounced as trespassing...
The boy, in order to save himself , fought back and killed a few guards as well as seriously injured the Prince.
The boy was captured and brought before the King and received a death sentence. His coven stepped in at that point to plead for him, but the King refused. In a moment of anger, one of the vampires retaliated. The vampire tried to kill the King but it seemed that the boy was faster to it...probably to get revenge for trying to murder him.
A guard shot at the boy, to slow him down but at that moment...at that moment..."

I looked up at the beautiful man who had somehow come to sit beside me.
"At that moment, what? What happened?"
His face had lost color and was void of any emotion.
It was as if he was experiencing a flashback.
"Mario...Mario?" I tapped him. That got him.
"I'm sorry, where was I?"
"At the part where the boy was shot at."

His face became sullen once more.

"He...' He sounded choked. I held his two hands to calm him down.

"Tell me."
"The Princess jumped in the way to save the boy and got struck."
"But she recovered, right?"
He looked at me with sad eyes.
"Her heart was pierced, she wasn't going to survive. The boy did not let her have her last days in peace."
'To get revenge on the King, he snuck into the girl's room and finally killed her."
The last sentence had my blood boiling, though I was silent.
My hands folded into a fist.
"Why does this affect you?" I asked, kneeling in front of him. He placed a hand on my head.

"The Prince's name is Wyvern and the Princess's name was Wilma."
