When standards of beauty changed so drastically that everyone wore masks to hide their faces.
Standards were so high that no one even knew what the 'perfect face' was anymore.
If you asked someone if your beautiful even they wouldn't know.

The meeting was tiring for the bunch, and as usual they all went to their signature cafe, this time including Taehyung.
As they sat down at their table Jungkook began to speak, "If you were to ask me a year ago if I thought this would ever happen, i'd only be wishful thinking. Just the thought that something like this could even be possible... It astounds me." finishing his last sentence by taking a sip of his sugary coffee.
"You worked hard and not only, you didn't give up." Namjoon smiled. "I know, my persistence can sometimes be a pain. "he joked laughing at his own comment. "I can't understand your feelings entirely since I haven't been here since the beginning, but I'm glad I joined when I did." Taehyung glanced to everyone who seemed to let shy smiles appear on their lips.
After mingling for a while the group started to disperse. Jungkook and Jin today were going over to Namjoon's place.
"Appa, Eomma I'm home." Namjoon bowed as he walked into his home, his mother walking out of the kitchen, a mask not seen on her face so everyone could see her contented smile. Namjoon swiftly walks over to her to place a chaste welcome kiss on her cheek.
"How was your studies?" "It went well Eomma, Where's Appa?" "Oh, he's at work." Namjoon giving a slight nod the other boys took off their mask and greeted Mrs. Kim.
"How are you Mrs.Kim?" Jin smiled at the elder, giving a hug. "Oh my, I've been well. "she reciprocates the hug but as she pulls back she tugs on Jin's cheeks. "What about you dear? It looks like you gained some weight." "I've been eating well." "I can tell." She nodded then went to welcome Jungkook. "Oh wow! You're looking more handsome every time I see you! If you have good grades you're set for life." It sounded as if it was a joke but they all knew she wasn't one to joke about grades.
They all knew Namjoon was lying when he said his studies was going well...He didn't even have school, but his mother was very particular about grades, if a person couldn't have beauty their intelligence to make up for it. His parents were very sophisticated people, who fell in love for their smarts. He was studying medicine, just how his parents did but he had no classes today, but they always assume when he's out, he's out focusing on school work. The other two males understood the way of his parents and always go along with his act.
On the other hand, Jin couldn't help but to let Mrs. Kim's words sink with him a little, he couldn't keep up with the countless times someone had commented on his weight, does that describe his beauty? Just because he doesn't have a refined jawline? He let the words sink a little but it didn't have much impact on his self-esteem because to himself, he still thought he was beautiful.
Jungkook didn't really think much of the comment, he was flattered but it doesn't get to his head to the point were he becomes boastful, but he doesn't necessarily think of himself as ugly either. Modest. Could be a word that best describes him.
They haven't had much time to hang out and just relax, after all the events that have been occurring they have been to preoccupied on making things organized for their group, that they lacked having just time to themselves to hang out like normal friends.
