When standards of beauty changed so drastically that everyone wore masks to hide their faces.
Standards were so high that no one even knew what the 'perfect face' was anymore.

They met up at the normal spot where they would gather. For some reason it felt different than normal to Taehyung, ever since he let the biggest secret he had out, he couldn't help but wonder if Jungkook had told the rest of them his big secret.
He bounced his leg up and down as he anxiously flitted his eyes between everyone that were minding their own business as they waited for Jungkook to come. He had one step over, he told Jungkook. But the next move was to tell everyone else. "Guys I have something to tell all of you..." Taehyung started but just as he was able to tell the news Jungkook walked into the building.
"Perfect you are all here!" Jungkook said coolly acting as he normally would. He took a spot at the empty chair placed for him and he folded his hands together with his legs crossed. "We have something very important to tell you," Jungkook looked over to Taehyung, "I don't know if Taehyung would like to do the honors since he was the one who organized it together but..." Jungkook eyed Taehyung if he was going to carry on but Taehyung was left silent and shook his head.
"Alright then, Taehyung here had given us the opportunity to have a public hearing!"
Right...That he chose to say instead of the information that he told him yesterday. Jungkook chose not to tell everyone and instead told them the better side of news to the group. This information that Jungkook told them had them excited in their seats with more enthusiasm than they had before the meeting started.
"How-? How is that possible-?" Namjoon asked, "That sounds almost nearly impossible to get?" The man thought logically. Of course to them this does seem something near impossible. In Taehyung's head he knew it was time, and this was the perfect chance to let them all know.
"As the son of thee Mr.Kim, I had connections to people who are family friends that allowed us to do so. Although I do feel the need to say that they weren't too fond of this policy when my father first came up with it." Instead of hearing a crowd of gasps, everyone was silent.
Almost the same reaction as Jungkook's, Taehyung looked over to Jungkook curious what his thoughts were on him now. As Taehyung said what he did Jungkook's face was unfazed and casual. He didn't stir in his seat nor make eye contact with Taehyung, so instead of Taehyung looking for the attention from someone that won't give him any he looked at the group of people that he hoped would still continue to be friends with him even after this news.
There thoughts were bittersweet, people are a product of the person that make them and Taehyung was a product of his father who is clearly their number one enemy. Sohee was the first person to speak up in the group, "Thank you Taehyung."
"That's it?" Taehyung was confused seeing as her response was not as dramatic as he pictured. Just the same way he thought Jungkook's reaction would of been blown out of proportion yet, he was considerate. He was always expecting more considering the circumstances but these people always seemed to not meet his expectations.
