Marinette ran into the literature classroom of Collège Françoise Dupont's Senior grade and sat down in the same seat she sat in the before sighing in relief she wasn't late.

Marinette waved at her friend who sat in the farthest seat from the front of the room. He waved back before being called on by the teacher.

"Nino, Why don't you have a seat in the front row this year?" Marinette's first period teacher, Miss Caline Bustier suggested. Nino Lahiffe tanned skin, black-framed glasses,  bright yellow minion tee shirt, and his usual red baseball cap. Nino had always been in Marinette's first period class ever since she started school. The two became really good friends some could say best friends.

He slumped down in his new seat turning to smile at Marinette who now sat a row behind him. "Guess it won't be too bad."

"You promise not to get me in trouble for passing notes?"

Nino turned back around, scribbled something down, preceeded to rip paper out of a notebook, fold it, and then hand it to Marinette. She sighed then opened it revealing the word "No" with a smiley added for an extra affect.

Marinette crumpled up the note and was prepared to throw the note at the back of his head but she was interrupted mid throw by her mortal enemy, Chloe Bourgeois. "MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG!!!"

"What do you want?" Marinette regretted her moment of solis. She had assumed that the universe had given her a break from the blonde tyrant.

"Move your butt Dupain-Cheng. You're in MY seat."

"No."  Marinette crossed her arms. "This was my seat last year and it will be my seat this year, so buzz off, Queen B."
Marinette refrained herself from calling Chloe a five letter word that would land her in detention. She didn't want to start the school year off like that even if it was a word that captured Chloe's essence.

Sabrina, Chloe's underling spoke up for her so called best friend's behalf. "Not anymore! New school, new year, new seats!"

"Go sit by her." Chloe ordered as she pointed to a new student who sat on the other side on the classroom reading a comic book. She had reddish hair pulled into a sloppy bun, old fashioned glasses, she wore a thin grey hoodie with tiny oranges on it, mom jeans, and orange converses. It was a nice casual look according to Marinette.

"If you say please maybe I'll think about it." Marinette said acknowledging Chloe's lack of etiquette. "Aren't rich people supposed to take courses on this sort of thing?"

Chloe stood there thinking that Marinette would forfeit the seat if she stood her ground. She wanted to selfishly pursue her crush, a childhood friend who was allowed to go to public school for his final year. "Listen. Adrien's arriving today, and since that's going to be his seat, this is going to be my seat. Got it?"

"Dare I ask who this mysterious Adrien person is?" Marinette said not meaning to actually ask the question since that was an equivalent to opening a can of peanut brittle at a prank shop and expecting peanut brittle.

Chloe and Sabrina laughed in sync."Can you believe she doesn't know who Adrien is?" Chloe then proceeded to mock Marinette for not knowing this Adrien person. "What rock have you been living under?"

"And you dare call yourself a fan of  Gabriel Agreste when you don't know basic information about him" Sabrina added.

"I don't really care about his personal life or what he does outside of the Gabriel Brand." Marinette replied. She passed the piece of paper between her hands debating whether to chuck the crumpled up piece of paper at Chloe instead of Nino.

"Did you know he has a son and I'm his best friend?" Chloe proudly stated.

"Dang, did know you and Gabriel Agreste were that close." Marinette said knowing that Chloe meant she was Gabriel Agreste's son's best friend.

Chloe sat down next to Marinette. As soon as Miss Bustier's back was turned Chloe started to push Marinette off down the wooden bench. "Move your fat but!"

Marinette thought about pushing back but if Chloe could bump her off the seat she deserved a reward. The girl reading the comicbook took notice of Marinette being literally pushed around by Chloe.
"That's really rude!" She yelled.

Chloe in response threw Marinette's things off the desk and threw her bookbag over. "Hey!" Marinette yelled as she went to pick up her things.

A few items spilled out of her bookbag unbeknownst to Marinette one of those items were a small black box with exquisite red embossing. Chloe kicked the box towards herself and slipped into her bag. Chloe was planning on keeping it or holding it for ransom depending on how she felt.

The new girl helped Marinette pick up her things only to be mocked by Chloe.
"Oh, Look Sabrina! We've got a little do-gooder in our class this year. What are you gonna do, four eyes? Shoot beams at me with your glasses?"

"I'm pretty sure she can't shoot laser beams. But, I might have super strength. The only way of knowing is testing it out." Marinette said as she stood up and cracked her knuckles. Her grandfather said that she shouldn't use the skills he taught her for vendettas but when in Rome do as the Romans do.

The only reason she stopped was Alya grabbed her hand. "I only just meant her but, I can tell she's not worth getting a detention over." Both girls headed to the seats Chloe originally wanted them to. Chloe stuck out her foot causing Marinette to trip, she managed to spill all but one matcha flavored macaroon.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry..." Marinette said apologizing to everyone and everything except Chloe and Sabrina.

"Has everyone found a seat?" Asked the teacher who noticed that Marinette and Chloe had switch seats and thought that the two girls had finally sorted out a quarrel by themselves.

"I so wish I can handle Chloé the way you do." Marinette said.

"Thanks. But, my oldest sister taught me that people have a flight or fight response. And I appreciate her for teaching me that but I would rather deal with a situation like the way Majestia does it." This new girl had a level head, she was nerdy, and  absolutely gorgeous. She showed Marinette the cover of the comic she was reading that had a typical blonde superheroine on the cover which was all fine and dandy but this real life girl was truly amazing.

"She says all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing" She then pointed to Chloe who awaited for her prince charming. "Well, that girl over there is evil, and we are the good people. We can't let her get away with it."

"Well, that's easier said than done." Marinette sighed. Her grandfather would be upset if he knew she was planning revenge. If he ever found out she would have go through six painful hours of training plus the normal training she did for a whole week.

"Don't worry girl, I got you." As a reward for helping her out Marinette gave half a Macaroon to her possible new friend.

"Matcha is my favorite flavor. Names Alya by the way." The newly self introduced girl said with a mouth full.

"Marinette."

Then Miss Bustier started to write her name on the chalkboard so all the students could see how her name was spelled. "For those of you who don't yet know me, I'm Miss Bustier. I'll be your teacher this year."

"Ugh, he should have been here by now." Chloe said as she stared at the clock on the wall thinking that at any minute her one and only prince charming would walkthrough the door.
