He has come back to me
the one I love
he didn't mean to drift away
he came back for me
he understands me like no other
he knows my needs
he helps me find myself
and understand how to better myself
he is my light
my knight in shining armor
but gentle and sweet
so now we may rest
look upon the stars
that stare at us
from above
and talk about our future
we want together
we may be
just a couple of teens
but maybe that is what the world needs
