Made October 27, 2019 I made this for Serious_Sigherra's art contest. Theme: Halloween. (Honorable mention)
I just want to explain this picture a little bit, because it's a little more confusing than most of my pictures. This is Jyn and Cassian dressed up for Day of the Dead, which is a Mexican holiday celebrated close to Halloween, but unlike halloween, which is kind of about being afraid of death or things that are dead, Day Of The Dead is about celebrating the life of those who have died and passing their memory on to future generations. The background is marigold petals, which are considered the flower of the dead. I chose Jyn and Cassian for this picture for 2 reasons...
#1 The actor who played as Cassian actually played in a Day Of The Dead film: "the book of life" #2 since Day of the Dead is about remembering and honoring those who have died, I thought it was fitting...
