She always seems to be the shoulder to cry onShe always seems to care more than expected
She always seems to be okay
The one that has their shit together
The one that has parents that love her
The one that has the extraordinary life
Yet behind her smile is a story
Behind her sparkling eyes, is a tear falling upon her cheek
Behind the blasting music was her demons screaming
She can't tell her parents, they would think she's mental
She can't tell her friends, they would think she is a drama queen
She can't tell the love of her life, he would leave her
As days became weeks and weeks became months
The pain grew
The more the pain consumed her
The less she felt anything
She didn't cry as much
She didn't care as much
She didn't feel as much
All she wanted was for someone to listen
All she wanted was to feel happy
All she wanted was the pain to end
She couldn't understand why people didn't pay attention
She couldn't stand the thought of ending her life
She couldn't think straight when she is conflicted with her demons as well as her morals
She tried to swim to shore
She tried to run for her life
She tried to fight her enemies
But she lost......
then one day she broke.....
