A new start

We walked home while cloud ran ahead of us excited and then sniffed a flower before eating it then realizing the flower didn't taste as good as he thought it would he quickly spit it out me and sky laughed about this for a long time and before we knew it we were home we all got inside and me and sky went to look at the Dragon egg

"Do you know when it's going to hatch?" I asked Sky

"Not exactly but it should be in a few days so I think I'll be here when it does"

"Good" I responded happy that he could stay for a while

"There is something I need to talk to you about june" sky said

I instantly felt nervous what did he want to talk to me about? I wondered

"What is it?" I asked trying to hide how worried I was

"I'm in a little bit of trouble"

"What!?"

" yeah you see goes aren't really allowed to fall in love with a mortal sooo.. "

"What does that mean for us? What's going to happen?"

" calm down its fine the big man allowed us to be together and tons of other gods have broken that rule and were fine"

"Then why are you saying you're in trouble?"

" because I still have a minor punishment "

"And what's that?"

" I lose my powers for a while "

" what!? "

"Yeah after I go back my powers get taken away for a while and a substitute god does my work"

" So you won't be able to look out for me and cloud? " I said worried

" I'm sure the substitute god will look out for you a little bit but it will definitely be harder on you"

"Ok that's fine I can take care of myself" I lied

It was not fine I already felt vulnerable at the thought of him not looking after me

"I'm glad you can" sky responded but looked a little worried

He kissed my forehead before looking at my eyes

"You have such pretty eyes" he said

I blushed

"T..thank you"

"Awww you're so cute when you're embarrassed cupcake" he said

" don't tease me " I said pouting

"Did you find the other hidden room?" He asked me

" no there was another room? "

" yeah I thought you would've found it by now it's kinda obvious"

"Well where is it?"

" I guess I'll tell you cause you might need that room" he said

and then grabbed my hand and dragged me into the living room he went to the bookshelves was near the wall and pointed to a book with a green cover its title said read me June

"Oh.." I said feeling stupid I didn't see it before

He dragged the book out of the bookshelf but it wouldn't come out of the bookshelf instead there was a clicking sound and then sounds of metal creaking...and then we fell I screamed and sky wrapped his arms around me we were in some kind of slide sky seemed to be enjoying it while I was terrified
