A new start

"June.. Wake up" sky said softly

I opened my eyes to see sky

"June..I'm going to have to leave soon"

I jumped into his arms knocking him onto the bed so I was on top of him I hugged him tightly

"I don't want you to leave"

"I know.. I'm sorry but I have to" sky said

"Who will be the substitute god?" I asked

" I don't know"

"I hope it's not kane"I said

" me too" sky said

Willow came into the room and I saw that something was different

"Willow! You.. You're big now"

"Yeah..? Dragons grow faster than humans"

"Oh I didn't know that"

Cloud walked into the room and jumped back from her surprised that she was as big as him now

I quickly explained everything to him and he nodded

"How much longer can you stay?" I asked sky

" a few hours at most"

I looked down at the ground my heart started to hurt and I clung tighter to him he must've known that I was sad because he kissed my forehead before speaking

"Come on lets go eat breakfast"

Sky snapped and food appeared on the table I would have cooked the food but I guess sky didn't want to waste time when we only had a short time together until he would have to go

Kane didn't bother us anymore so maybe he had a heart after all because who could do something so cruel to people already having a rough time

"Everything is so gloomy in here" willow said sensing the sadness that overtook the room

"Yeah..." I said softly before finishing my food

" oh come on! " she said before pushing us out the door literally

Sky fell down to the ground first before willow pushed me out too and I landed on top of him our faces super close sky grunted in pain and before we could realize the position we were in Cloud fell on top of me

"Gosh darn it cloud you're too heavy get off!"

Cloud quickly got off of me and I got off of sky so he could get up

"Why would you do that?!" I shouted at willow she giggled a bit before flying down to us

" you guys need to have fun" she said

"So pushing us out of the door was supposed to be fun?" Sky said

" Nooo... But this is" she said before touching cloud and screaming

"Tag you're it" before running away into the huge field

It wasn't long until cloud chased after her and tackled her onto the ground before running from an angry willow

"That wasn't fair!" She yelled chasing after him

Cloud started to run towards us barking

It was like he was saying run or she will tag you

Me and Sky glanced at each other and then back at willow who wasn't that far away anymore before we split up and ran as fast as we could willow realized she couldn't catch up to cloud and set her sights on me charging at me I laughed screaming

"Oh no she's going to get me. .. help sky!" I glanced at sky and he just laughed at me and I knew he wouldn't help me

I ran glancing back at her and although she couldn't catch cloud that doesn't mean she wasn't fast before I knew it she brushed past me touching me with her wing and kept running I knew that I wouldn't be able to catch cloud or willow so I looked at sky and he made an expression of shock

"Oh no.." He said before running away from me as fast as he could

I wouldn't let him go that easy and I quickly caught up with him before touching his shoulder I was going to keep running but sky say down on the ground gasping for air he probably doesn't run much since he can fly

"Hold up I have to catch my breath" he said

I walked over to him "You okay?"

" how do you run so fast? " he asked me

I laughed " I used to do track... how do you think I worked off all that ice cream?"

He chuckled and I flushed his laugh was angelic which made since because he was a god but still I sat down next to him and put my hand in his hair it was soft and I heard him sigh as I ran my hand through his hair

"That feels nice.." He said leaning on me

He was so cute how did I get so lucky he then looked my cheek before getting up and running away laughing it took me a while to process what happened but then I got up and chased after him yelling

We played tag for about an hour before we all fell on the ground next to each other exhausted from running around

Sky was laying down right next to me and I felt him slightly brush his fingers with mine before grabbing my hand and intertwined our fingers

"Remember when we both looked at the clouds and guessed what they looked like"

"Yeah that was right before-" sky cut me off before I could finish

"The meteor..."

"Actually I was going to say that was right before we met cloud but ok"

Cloud perked his head up at the sound of his name before barking as if saying why are you guys talking about me?
I ignored him

"Oh.. Yeah I guess that was right before we met him"

I snuggled close to him and he wrapped his arms around me

"I love you.." He said

" I love you too"

We stayed like that for a long time before sky broke the silence

"I have to go now.."

" I know... "

He stood up and helped me up before letting his wings come out

Cloud and willow ran up to him and they said their goodbyes

"June i-"

" don't speak" I said hugging him tight I knew that if he would have finished that sentence if he would've said I'm sorry I would have broken into tears on the spot

He broke apart the hug before kissing me

"I'll miss you.." He said gazing into my eyes

" me too"

He then turned away from us and saved goodbye before flying off I started as he went farther and farther away before I couldn't see him anymore my heart shattered and I felt tears run down my cheeks and I sat down

Cloud knew I was crying first and ran over to me and I hugged him and he tried to comfort me willow noticed and came over she was silent unlike how she usually talks non-stop and they both sat down next to me Cloud rested his head on my lap

"Oh my I'm sorry I just interrupted a moment haven't I.. Umm..are you ok I'm sorry again" I heard a soft voice say

I turned to them

Hehehe a cliffhanger I guess you guys will just have to wait all the way until next Monday to find out who it is  a whole week you guys have to wait hehehe I love being evil
