Another month gone by.
You would be lying if you said you didn't check your porch every day for a new note, that false hope being the only thing to get you out of bed each morning.
The cold was getting worse.
Much worse.
You found yourself shivering even under the warmth of your heavy duvet at night.
Soon-ja avoided talking about Taehyung with you, she mostly just sat watching you worriedly from her office in silence.
You started trying to hone in on your powers as a distraction, spending the entirety of your days off on the ocean floor pressing your palms to the sand.
It felt amazing, you felt intense energy pulsing through you as if you were one with the ocean itself.
But no matter how much you tried to distract yourself, the coldness and the emptiness still consumed you.
