Taehyung POV
Running a good five paces ahead of everyone else, Taehyung practically burst into the hotel suite, eyes sweeping the room immediately.
"What's he all worked up about?" Yoongi's annoyed tone came from down the hall.
"He lost his phone at some point this morning, he's been dying without it all day" Jimin replied, skipping up behind Taehyung to help him search.
"I swear I left it on one of the side tables while we were in hair and makeup.." Taehyung trailed off, stalking over to the couch to begin searching more thoroughly.
"Maybe one of the maids moved it when they were cleaning?" Namjoon offered, lifting up one of the couch cushions for him.
"If they didn't turn our boat day into a damn photoshoot I wouldn't have been so rushed for time.." Taehyung growled, frantically searching everywhere he remembered having the phone.
"Um.. guys? Its right here..." Jungkook's perplexed tone interrupted, making Taehyung flash his eyes up to the makane.
He immediately jogged over, brows furrowed in utter confusion.
"But... I know I didn't leave it here. I mean, right beside the front door? There's no way I could have missed it on my way out!"
Am I losing my mind?
"Ahh young love, it messes with the chemicals in your brain you know?" Jin cooed, poking Taehyung in the ribs playfully.
"Yah! Cut it out!" The boy snapped back, clutching the phone he had been missing all day off from the counter.
"By messing with chemicals, do you mean it turns you stupid? 'Cause I think you're onto something hyung," Yoongi piped up, smirking evily at his friend.
Without paying any attention to the playful teasing around him, Taehyung unlocked his phone, immedietly opening up the chat screen with Y/N.
[No New Messages]
Strange...
I thought she would have messaged me by now.
Filled with sudden worry Taehyung quickly typed out a string of messages to check up on her.
[9:36] Taehyung: Hey, are you okay?
[9:36] Taehyung: I've been at a photoshoot all day and I lost my phone in the hotel room
[9:37] Taehyung: I'm so sorry jagi, are you mad?
Too overwhelmed with anxiety to even look up Taehyung kept his eyes fixed on the chat, finally getting a sigh of relief when he saw three dots pop up on the screen.
[9:40] Y/N: I'm okay! I forgive you :)
Thank god
[9:41] Taehyung: What time should Jimin and I head over? We can come now if you want!
[9:42] Y/N: Actually, I'm busy. I'm going to stay at a friends house tonight instead.
Oh?
I didn't know she had friends on the island...
I guess I dont really know her that well yet?
[9:43] Taehyung: Okay, well.... if you need me give me a call okay?
[9:43] Taehyung: Miss you <3
