"Oh, my assistant didn't mention? I'll move in with you for the next 6 months as your physiotherapist as well"

Shen Yue wished she had a camera on hers she could film Dylan's expression. His head was cocked to the side with an adorable 'U kidding me' look stuck on his dark eyes. He also looked half torn between laughing and crying.

After almost a minute of silent observation of his half dimples - and no words form Dylan - a shy smile was stubbornly trying to find its way towards the corner of her mouth. She knew this would betray her professional pose so she promptly hid it with the charts on her arms before any of the boys could see it.

"No way" He managed to mumble with an unbelieving tone after regaining the control over his mouth

"None of my colleagues had this kind of 'follow up' from their surgeons, this is..."

"Exclusively for you" Li Zi cut him, smirking at the doctor and waggling his eyebrows suggestively behind Dylan's back.

"Right, Mrs Yue?"

Yue almost nodded at his phrase but managed to put her mask back on before falling right into his trap. Immediately cursing herself for almost blowing it.

"Not exactly" She glared at Didi's friend, then turned to her patient. "Your colleagues didn't have their surgery here, did they?"

Dylan shook his head, still looking half skeptical

"See? That's why you never heard of it... All my Top-level athletes get a derivative of this treatment if they have surgery here with me, it's pretty standard"

She tried to sound as nonchalant as possible and He Di looked almost convinced when she finished the explanation, but Yue knew it could've easily been the meds kicking in and making him slightly confused.

"Oh, I see... well, if I'm not bothering you..." Didi said still uncertain. She was finding him adorable with the dizzy look on his face.

His friend, on the other hand was planning to get some time alone with the doctor to try and set the record straight about this 'standard procedure'.

"It's no problem at all, really. After you get discharged, I'll come and stay with you so we can work on your rehabilitation"

At that second, the nurse came in and greeted them, announcing she was taking Dylan for a routine MRI. The doctor thanked the heavens and waved the patient off.

Yue was pretending she couldn't see the look on Li Zi's face after Dylan left with the nurse. She counted until 10 before she sighed heavily and turned to him with crossed arms.

"Alright, spill it... I know you want to"

"You don't do that to all your patients, do you?" He said

"No, I don't" She replied in a firm, defiant tone.

"Why are you doing this?" Li Zi's voice was demanding "And don't say it's just out of the goodness of your heart, otherwise you wouldn't have this worry line on your forehead"

She wanted to keep this to herself a little longer but was no use, she knew she had to tell the truth to him, otherwise he'd never be onboard with this.

"Alright, listen..." she began to fill him in on the plan.

About an hour later, Li Zi was looking out the window of the bedroom feeling nauseated by the dick move from Dylan's team. He kept repeating 'those bastards' whilst she told him their conditions for Dylan's return.
