Later that day we picked up Elias ,who was asleep when we picked him up, and we walked home."Louis do you like Rose Tyler?", I asked him. "Haha, oh Sarah you're funny. No I don't like Rose Tyler but she does remind me of you." He responded. "Oh really and in what way?", I asked him. " Well she's kind of short like you -No offensive- and her hair it's like blonde and brown mixed, and well your pretty little face.", he stated. I hesitated then said , "Wait Louis did you-," he inturupted me, "What no I just said she looked like you. Not pretty or something like that please no." I could've sworn he called me "Pretty" because he got all scared and nervous after I asked him if he did. "Louis I'm not deaf I heard you. You said 'that pretty little face' don't lie to me.", I said calmed but yet strict. We reached our houses and he whispered "No I didn't I just said you guys look alike anyway bye Sarah!" He said it really fast then went inside his house. I got scared by the fact that my child hood friend might like me. I remember the way we met.... ((FLASHBACK))
It was the day my dad left us, my dad had walked out and I chased him crying and yelling and there was a little boy there. Just standing there in his blue jeans and a SpongeBob shirt he came up to me and said, "Hi I'm Louis. It's spelled L-O-U-I-S but the 'S' is silent. What happened?" I got weirded out by the fact that some random kid probably older than me had come up to me and just said that to me. "My name is Sarah I'm 8 and my dad just left me and my mommy.", I said in between sniffles. "Its okay wanna be my best friend?",he asked. I nodded and we hugged. ((END)) I didn't realize that, that day was the start of a new friendship.
I couldn't even think about me dating my best friend, but I did kind of like him. But we did make a promise in his 5th birthday party. ((FLASHBACK)) It was a sunny day at the park for Louis' party. He came up and said, "Sarah you came!" he yelled surprised while hugging me. I nodded because I had no words. After that party we bonded pretty fast but Louis had asked me, "Sarah do you like boys?" I laughed and replied, "Yes and no. Yes because they're cute but no they have cooties!!" We laughed then he whispered, "Let's be friends forever and not be in love whatever that is!!" He yelled. ((END)) I agreed but that was a huge mistake.
I heard a loud crash and then I exclaimed , "Crap. Elias you dropped the picture!!" I picked it up and saw it was a picture of me and Louis. I kind of cried while looking at it reminding me of much "Simpler" times. My mom arrived and well ,again , I avoided her. I took Elias upstairs and went to sleep at 6 P.M you might ask but you'll understand if you were me. Being in this miserable life trying to find out "Secrets of your life" and raising a 2 year older ((Which is going to be 3 in 2 weeks)) its just COMPLICATED.
