The rest of the thanksgiving week was pretty normal except for Thanksgiving day it self. I had gotten Elias and myself all dressed up for the occasion. In the morning we went to Louis’ house for church. “Sarah Happy thanksgiving!” yelled Louis. He was wearing some black pants with suspenders and a shirt then to top it off a bowtie. “Umm… Louis why so elegant? I mean it’s just church?”, I asked suspiciously. I had absolutely no idea what was coming. “Oh yeah change of plans, today it’s my cousin Alexa’s wedding and well WE BE GOING TO A WEDDING!!! Sorry still wanna come I still need a-a….”, He couldn’t finish he stuttered and his dad came from behind and yelled, “The word your looking for is DATE. He still needs a DATE. As in you Sarah!!”Louis looked down and laughed then whispered, “Not as my date well because” He looked up at me. “Why are you blushing Sarah? Also because you’re my best friend. And remember that promise we made when we were 5!Thats tight I remember.” I looked at him and told him, “I’m blushing because of what your dad said!! And true but a wedding I’m not dressed.” “Who cares? Also my mum can lend you a dress that my older sisters left before they moved out.” I agreed and went inside. I picked a small, short, yet classy and appropriate dress that’s all Pink with black sparkles. The thing was NO SHOES. So my only chpoice was with the ones I have. I went with my pink high-tops and my dirty blonde hair curled. “Wow! Sarah you look – Wow”, he whispered all anxious and in astonishment. “Is it that bad?”, I whispered. “Sister, Pretty”, said Elias. “What? No absolutely not. You look beautiful. Anyway, Dad turns out Alexa wants me too take my “Girlfriend” which I don’t have,” mumbled Louis.
“Sarah, do you mind to be Louis’ fake girlfriend for the night? Please I don’t want my brother saying ‘Oh Look my son has a better girlfriend than your son’ Well you’re a beautiful girl and well Louis….”, asked me Louis’ dad. “I’m what dad?”, he yelled in a funny voice. I did a faint giggle and nodded. “Okay but only for a day.” They nodded and in the car Louis asked, “So Sarah Danielle James you’re my girlfriend for a day?” I punched him and replied, “Yeah fake girlfriend but that doesn’t mean you can call me by my full name.” Elias giggled and said, “Loi my sisters boyfriend!” “What No just fake”, Louis shouted.
We arrived at the wedding and since Louis was a close cousin him and his “Girlfriend” (as in me) we have to sit in the main table; while Elias and his parents sit in a normal table. “So Louis this your girlfriend?”,questioned a girl in a white dress, which I figured is Alexa the bride. “Yup Sarah dani-” I got revenge and interrupted him. “She doesn’t need to know my full name Louis.” He nodded. “She’s waaaayyyy out of your league. I don’t believe it. No offense but I think she’s fake, my brothers looks way more to his level,” stated Alexa in between laughs. Louis looked at me with an ‘I’m really sorry’ look on his face. He cupped my face, pulled me by the waist and kissed me on the lips. Sort of making out with me. Sparks flew in my mind…. Especially since I’ve been wanting to do that. Alexa stared with her jaw open and then hollered, “Dang!! Louis got a girl!” I looked around and saw everyone staring at us. I blushed a bit then Louis pulled me to the side and whispered, “Sarah if I kiss you tonight I’m sorry but my family is competitive between the boys and having girlfriends. Because most kids they have are boys Alexa was the first girl ever since my grandma. HONESTLY.” I nodded and we went back to the table.
“So Louis how’d you and Sarah meet,” asked Alexa. I looked at him he hesitated then told Alexa, “We’ve been best friends since we were four years old. It’s a long story but the important thing is that she’s mine now. Is it not?” She nodded then all of a sudden this guy comes behind me and yells, “LOUIS!!! WHATS UP MY COUSIN IS THIS YOUR GIRLFRIEND?” I got scared so I hit Louis in the stomach and Louis said, “Oww!! And yes she’s my girlfriend Sarah.” I grabbed my waved at him then he grabbed my hand and kissed it. “Hey woah! Gerald back off okay she’s my girl. Only mine,” screamed Louis. Gerald backed away and left, I looked at Louis and smiled he blushed and smiled back. “Louis c’mon she’s your girlfriend do something hold her hand or something,” said Alexa. Louis then locked his fingers with me and we blushed.
After around 2 hours Louis asked me, “Hey Sarah wanna dance?” I then replied, “But were not actually toge-” That boy interrupted me again. “Sarah dance as friends. Even if it’s a slow song.” I agreed and he took my hand to the dance floor. Kiss me by Ed Sheeran was playing, Louis started singing along.

I blushed and he spun me around then he dipped me and whispered, “I feel like this is the time to tell you. Sarah Danielle James, I love you I have since I was 13 and I’m 16 right now. When I kissed you a few hours ago I felt sparks fly I couldn’t believe that had happened. I know the promise but Screw that promise we were five and I didn’t know you were going to be this beautiful. If I did I wouldn’t have promised nothing. I love you even if you don’t love me ba-” Interrupted him with my lips. I kissed him while I was floating because I was still in the dipping position. “Louis you talk too much. And no one said I didn’t love you and if they did who was it? Because they lied.” He got down and kissed me again but this time passionately and better now know we like each other.
