I opened the paper which was folded in half and I read it, ‘You make my heart beat faster and faster when ever I'm with you. With you there is no worry in the world. Yeah I know you say you have a crappy life but guess what? I LIVED IT WITH YOU!! There's no need to hide it if was with you there in the moment. I’m begging you to give me a chance and I want you to let me prove to you that I love you Sarah. I do and I always will until I maybe get married but that’s a different story. I LOVE YOU SARAH. I looked up from the paper and saw Louis’ mom. “So now you know he loves you?”, she asked me while walking to the coffee maker. I was shocked she was up this early. “Yeah but why?”, I asked her. I put the paper back on the table and walked to her.“Sarah you and I both know that when Louis falls in love he falls, HARD.”, she said while mixing the coffee creamer. “Hi Mum, oh hey Sarah.”, mumbled Louis in a morning voice. He looked down and saw the letter then saw me. He grabbed it and quickly just trashed it inside of his pocket. I smiled then asked him, “So Louis what are we doing for Elias birthday? You know 1 week till his 3rd birthday.” I whispered. He shrugged then finally answered, “I don’t know something just us and Rose because he got attached to her. And mum. Why did I sleep on the table?” “You want me to answer that that son?”Louis then said to her. “Shhh never mind!”, he shouted.
The week went by fast and then Elias birthday came. It was just Louis, Elias, and me. Rose was sick so she couldn’t. We went to Dairy Queen and surprise surprise our biggest enemy was there Rhonda. “Louis? Damn you got this chick pregnant?” she asked. “This is Elias Sarah’s BROTHER.”, he responded calmly yet mad.
“ So Louis even if you were single? Would you date this fat ass?”, questioned Rhonda’s friend. “Umm..Louis what is he saying?” I asked him. He shook his head. “Nothing, and that’s none of your business. Maybe I would maybe I wouldn’t but I’m not single.”, he said then threw a punch at the guys face.
We ran out and went to the park. “Great way for a three year olds party,” I said sarcastically. “Louis what did he mean IF YOU WERE single?”, I asked him. “Well I’m dating Arianna. Sorry I didn’t tell you.” he said. Those words felt as if he just took a knife and jabbed through my heart. My heart sank as he smiled, I then did the first thing that came to me. “What the heck!”, I shouted. He looked confused so I just mouthed the words ‘Never mind’. We went home and I stood outside talking to his mom. “But if he loves me.. why is he dating Arianna?”I questioned her. “He loves you but he doesn’t know you love him too. And don’t argue with me I know you do.”, she answered. I looked to the ground and blushed. I left with no words and went home. Later Louis called me and said, “Hey guess what?” “What Louis?” “Well sorry Sarah for calling but wanted to let you know Arianna broke up with me. Figures you should no since you were last one to find out about us dating” “Oh sorry Louis anyway see you tomorrow.” We hanged up and I just smiled and I think maybe just maybe I fangirled a bit.
The next day Me and Louis were thrilled because we only had 3 days of school before Thanksgiving break. The three days went by quick and as soon as it reached 4:15 on Thursday we ran to pick up Elias and went home and saw Finding Nemo. “Like a boss”, shrieked Louis as he pressed play.
After watching the movie we just sat in the dining room table and ate cookies and crème ice cream with our “Spoons”; which were really oversized spoons. He then asked, "So Sarah if you had to date someone who would it be? Me or Alex?” Of course my answer was him. I wanted to yell ‘OF COURSE YOU!!’. I stuttered then my words just flew out of my mouth like no one was there, “Umm.. You I guess because I have to be dating someone I actually like-” I didn’t finish the sentence. I looked at him and he sort of blushed and smiled a bit. “As I was saying you because I actually like you and you’re my best friend. Also you’re super funny.”, I finished my sentence. He blushed even more. I kept on thinking, Oh my gosh I made him blush. Yay!!! “Anyway Louis can I tell you something?”, I questioned him. “Who do you like?”, I asked him. I don’t know what I had done, but I was scared for his answer. He stared at me then at the table, I was really anxious to hear his answer but he just smirked and responded with a dunce answer. “Why do you care?” “Because I’m your best friend. At least describe her.”, I pleaded. His brown eyes gazed into mine and I smiled. He then whispered, “ Well, she’s very gorgeous, smart, talented, amazing, very unique, short but tall, and well a girl.” I couldn’t help but giggle at the last comment. “Your giggle it’s so- so CUTE!!!”, he bellowed. I blushed then mumbled, “Okay anyway I’m going home bye Louis.” we hugged and I walked away. But as I walked away from the kitchen he whispered and a very tiny voice as if a mouse, “And her name is Sarah. Sarah Danielle* James*.” As I walked out I yelped a little bit when I closed the door.
