I walked into school and instantly bumped into someone. I dropped my books and I looked up I saw a tall, black haired, boy. I realized it was that jock that had flirted with me on the first day of school.
"I'm sorry I didn't see you it's my fault."
"No I'm sorry Cole It's okay I'm practically invisible to everyone."
"Don't say that. Wait I remember you your Sarah, that girl I flirted with on the first day but you were with my friend Louis."
"Yeah my" I stopped. I was about to say boyfriend. "He's my ex boyfriend."
"You guys broke up?" I nodded. "Wow well maybe you should move on. Wanna be my girlfriend?"
"Well sure."
"Thanks!" He pulled me close and kissed my cheek. I saw Louis and he stared at me he grabbed Arianna's hip and kissed her on the lips. I looked away and left.
After school I went to the football practice with Cole and he gave me his varsity jacket and I sat on the bleachers watching. Arianna came up to me and started talking. Although it sounded like she was talking from her ass cause all I heard was crap.
"Don't even think Louis still likes you. Because he doesn't"
"I'm fine I'm dating Cole now."
"Okay. Good"
After practice I went to hug Cole and at that same exact time, coincidence, Louis called Arianna and she walked away in her short skirt and shaking her butt. She jumped on Louis and kissed him. I'm guessing Cole knows the saying "The eyes are the door to the soul," because he saw my eyes and straight away took me off the field and we walked away. I wanted to cry but I didn't. I was strong.
I stayed with Cole until Louis decided to ruin it all. It was on the final football game, the state champions.
"Hey it's cold where's your jacket," asked Louis.
"Left it at home which is like an hour and thirty minutes away from home."
"Here borrow mine." He took off his jacket and I put it on. The only reason I went was because players had (Literally I had to go by force) to take their girlfriends. It was a tie with 15 minutes left. A little after ten minutes, Arianna came up to me and again said crap.
"You dirty pig!"
"Why?"
"Your dating Louis and Cole!"
"No just Cole."
"Why are you wearing Louis' jacket and be happy we got in fight! But not broken up yet."
"Because I'm cold and I am happy you little... Never mind just leave." For once she listened and left.
We were down by 2 points we needed a touch down in order to win. From far away I saw Cole. He waved and I waved back. Then, oh god then I saw Louis, number 51. His eyes sparkled through the helmet. He waved at me. I waved back just to be nice. The sucky part was that to top it off it started raining as soon as the time was resumed. This was just unexpected, I don't know how or what but Louis had a hold of that ball and ran staright and made a touchdown. The crowd went wild all the girlfriends ran to the guys. I took off the jacket (In order to get wet Haha), walked slowly to Louis to hand him his jacket but, he got the jacket threw it to the ground and pulled me close. He kissed me in the rain, I immediately kissed back. Arianna saw and mouthed the words 'It's over.'
Louis didn't care he kissed me again. Cole came he faked cough and I backed away.
"Its clear you are in love with Louis and he loves you too so Sarah, Can we break up?"
"Haha sure Zack but friends?" He nodded then we hugged and he left. Louis and I still arent dating but .. COMPLICATED!! I guess
We walked to the parking lot and got in a black camaro.
"Louis' who's car is this?"
"Mine. Christmas was awesome this year!" I giggled and got in the passenger seat. We put on the radio and the song "Cannonball" , the Little Mix version, came on. "Hey thanks for listening to 107.9 your number one station. Here's the song Cannonball from Louis to his ex girlfriend. Man this is sweet," said the radio announcer. I looked at him then, Louis started singing.
"There's still a little bit of your taste in my mouth. There's still a little bit of you laced with my doubt. It's still a little hard to say what's going on. There's still a little bit of your ghost, your witness. There's still a little bit of your face I haven't kissed. Step a little closer each day that I can say What's going on? "Louis that was amazing."
"Thank you. Look Sarah, I know where you went when I supposedly cheated on you. You went to Mellows creek. Alexa told me. Anyhow, Sarah what time is it?"
"Since we started playing around 4 p.m right now it's six. And by the time we get home it's going to be seven thirty. Why?"
"No reason."
When we got home he parked his car and dragged me behind my house to Mellows creek. Being there with him reminded me of the old days when we were both little kids. We laid there in silence looking at the stars. They looked beautiful not only the stars the space itself. When Louis and I were younger we always imagined in exploring space now here in the fiels we have endless shower of stars.
"Sarah?" He asked me.
"Yeah Louis?"
"You still watch Doctor who?"
"Of course why?" I looked at him funny what kind of question is this.
"Then you'll know this quote, 'I love you in a place where there's no space or time." I looked at him and I sort of fangirled. "Look Sarah" He sat up. "I love you. A LOT. Please I repeat I almost lost you in the hospital, then again when Arianna kissed me again but please please please please I'm begging you!! Take me back be my girlfriend again I miss you!" I looked at him and I nodded.
"Yes Louis I missed you to!" We got up and went back to my house.
"Sarah your home!"
"Yeah mom"
"oh your dating Louis again?" asked Rose. I nodded and blushed.
My mom walked in. "So sarah you're a senior now what college are you going to?"
"I don't know. Baylor in Waco Texas or Georgetown in Washington D.C. I don't know!"
"Sarah it's just 4 months in a half."
"Mom! I do not know I just know I'm going to a college."
She nodded and left. I kissed Louis goodnight and we went our on ways. When in my room I decided to start writing again. I was about to write when I get a text from my dad. (- means dad * means Sarah)
-Sarah! *How'd you get my number? -Not important. Where's rose! *She lives with us now she's picking up her stuff tomorrow -Why! * My mom stopped drinking now -Tell rose I love her! *Call her - I can't just do it *Fine anyway bye I'm blocking your number
I continued writing for about 5 to 10 minute then i thought to my self... What college wasi going to? After like 20 minutes i went to sleep.
