I think my buzz has officially worn off. And what I am left with is facing what the past 24 hours has done to me.
And what it means for any chance with Tessa. I don't want to go straight to Vance's. Because I know that will mean me getting pissed off, and doing something stupid...for the hundredth time today.
"Hey can we pull off and talk for a second." I say.
"okay." she says.
I get out of the car and sit on the trunk. She follows and sits down next to me.
I know I have to start talking, and I better figure out the right things to say, or she really will want nothing to do with me for good.
"I don't know what it is about being back here that made it so hard to keep it together. But, the thought of seeing you again, and then being with you again, and having to leave here without you again has killed me." i tell her.
"Okay, but still it doesn't make sense why ruin everything you worked so hard for?" She asks.
