3. Swimming Contest

   On getting to the site for the contest, Naruto and Sasuke registered and put up their names. There were seven contestants in total.

   "Prepare to lose to me teme (bastard) " Naruto said to Sasuke as they went to the changing rooms to put on swimming trunks.

  "Right back at you dobe(loser) " Sasuke replied

  As they all lined up in their various starting points the announcer began to speak.

  "As you all know, this the annual swimming Contest held by konoha. And this year's contest is more difficult than the others have been this location has more waves and the finish point has been extended. The grand prize is this ship. 2nd and 3rd places will receive consolation prizes. There are many new faces this year, the contestants are:
Hozuki Suigetsu
Jugo
Kimizuki Karin
Uchiha Sasuke
Uzumaki Naruto
Aoi Ken
Yuichi Sora.

May the best swimmer win. We start in 3 2 1 Begin!!!!

  All contestants jumped into the water at once. Sasuke instantly took the lead, he was followed by Suigetsu then Naruto, jugo, Karin, Yuichi before Aoi.

   The audience began to cheer. Sasuke still took the lead. He seemed to melt into the water and become one with it, he moved gracefully and swift.

   Suigetsu was still on his tail. He must be really good to be able to keep up with him Sasuke thought to himself. He suddenly got pissed then increased his speed and slightly went below the water raising his head to take deep breathes on intervals. Suigetsu was left in the behind.

   Sasuke was swimming so fast that he was creating waves and pushing Suigetsu backwards. He began to see the boat that was at the finish. He moved even faster.

   Wow Uchiha Sasuke is moving so fast, do the other contestants stand a chance against him, Hozuki has been left far behind. Is it even possible to move so fast.

    The audience began to chant sasuke's name as he got close to the finish.

   Suddenly Sasuke went beneath the water. Completely disappearing from view.  Everyone got scared because he wasn't coming up. Could he have sunk, is he drowning? What happened?
   The other contestants took this as a chance to capitalize. When out of nowhere Sasuke came up right beside the boat.

The crowd broke into a loud cheer. Sasuke!! Sasuke!! Sasuke!!

  Finally the race was over and the contestants were brought back in the boat. The cheers continued.

    " Now to announce the positions.

1st position Uchiha Sasuke Grand prize

2nd position Hozuki Suigetsu Consolation prize

3rd position Uzumaki Naruto Consolation prize

4th position Jugo

5th position Kimizuki Karin

6th position Yuichi Sora

7th position Aoi Ken.

And that marks the end of the this year's annual swimming Contest, thank you all for your time.

  When they were done dressing Sasuke and Naruto were prepared to go home when they were suddenly blocked by three people who Sasuke recognized as suigetsu, Karin, and Jugo.

   "what do you want?" he asked bluntly.
   "why we're only here to congratulate you on such a win, these are my buddies Karin and Jugo." Suigetsu said and extended his hand for a shake.

   Sasuke scanned him thoroughly from head to toe before shaking him.
  Suigetsu had short silver hair, and lavender eyes he was pale skinned and a head shorter than Sasuke. Karin had long red hair that was smooth but spiky from the middle down. She had equally red eyes. Jugo was huge, taller and bigger than Sasuke, he had orange short spiky hair, brown eyes and tan skin.

  "Hey Sasuke introduce me" Naruto said.

   "fine this is Naruto"

"nice to meet you guys" Naruto said excited.

   "nice to meet you too." Suigetsu and the others replied.

  "so Suigetsu you must be a really awesome swimmer, you were able to keep up to Sasuke. That barely happens." Naruto said.

   "Actually Suigetsu has been undefeated until today." Karin said.

   Jugo just kept watching Sasuke, observing him.

   "so you see I came here expecting to win the grand prize, I really need the ship then I'll be able to travel the seas like I've always wanted. So are you in for a trade." Suigetsu asked

   "sadly no." Sasuke replied

"oh well I live around these parts, so whenever you decide to go on some adventure, don't forget to invite me bye. " Suigetsu waved and went his own way.

   Naruto and Sasuke kept walking till Naruto suddenly spoke.

   " what happened today when you suddenly went under water, is that a new trick or.... "

" Naruto I'm sure you won't believe me if I told you. " Sasuke said.

" what happened? "

" I heard someone calling me, it came from down in the water. So I tried looking for the source but I found nothing so I came back to the surface. "

  " wow its either you were imagining things or it was sirens". Naruto said trying to sound spooky.

   "you know those stuff don't exist, I must have just been stressed out.

You never know they might be real.
