chapter 6 Keira Brooklyn Grace

I think I'm dreaming, I have never saw a boy that cute before. Or any boy normally, besides Nico, but he doesn't count.

Anyways, I was walking ahead of Rachel, Nico, and Will. I swear I heard them giggling and snickering, but I didn't pay attention because the name 'Harley' popped into my head and I think I began daydreaming because Nico kept calling my name, and when I finally heard him, I tripped on the Dining Hall stairs.

I turned to him. "Really, Nico!"

Nico shrugged, "that's what you get for being too busy, thinking about Harley."

"How did-" I started to say.

But Nico put his hand up and said, "I know everything, and besides, I'm not stupid."

I muttered under my breath. "Don't tell yourself lies."

"What did you say???" Nico snapped.

I quickly said, "nothing," and ran up the stairs and went through the door.

I caught a glance at Harley. He waved and I waved back.

I started walking to the Apollo table, and when I sat down, Nico and Will were right behind me.

Nico ruffled my hair, as he passed by.

I swear that he used to do that all the time.

And that's when I realized, my bow was gone, the one Anna gave me this morning.

It wasn't in my hair, so I got up and looked straight at Harley. My bow was dangling on his clothes, so, I walked over to his table.

The entire table awkwardly smiled except for Harley. "Hey, Keira, what's up?"

"Well, um. . . my bow is. . . attached to you . . ." I said, blushing like crazy.

Harley looked at his clothes. "Oh this, I didn't realize." He took it off of him and handed it to me and our hands connected.

It stayed like that for three seconds because I pulled away nervously because I felt all the Apollo table and Harley's table staring at me.

I smiled sweetly. "Thank you," then I ran to the Apollo Table.

As soon as I sat back down at the Apollo table, Will goes, "I 100% ship Karley 4 life!"

I cover my face with my hair and scream inside my hands.

Then, finally, I ate my lunch and calmed down.

When lunch was over and we were outside, Rachel had left in her helicopter, to go home already. We were arguing about crushes.

Nico said, "face it! You like Harley!"

I still kept saying, "no I don't"

And next thing I knew, Nico and Will backed up and remained silent.

I turned to see who they were looking at and it was HARLEY!

He was inches from my face when I turned around and I jumped back.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" Harley said, looking sad.

"No, no, it's all good," I said, smiling.

"Oh good, because I was wondering if you wanted to play volleyball in a few minutes." He said, smiling.

I couldn't resist that smile.

So, I said, "sure, i'd love to play."

Harley hugged me and shook me around. "Thank you, Thank you." And when he let go and walked off, I looked at Nico and Will and shreeked happily.

Maybe I should have asked what volleyball was first....
