True Colors

She stopped talking when Malcolm suddenly came through the door. He questionly looked between Annabeth and the girl. Then walked back out the door.

She continued like nothing happened. "It's Keira Grace," Annabeth looked stunned, then her eyes watered.

Keira stared at her. "Are you ok?" Annabeth responded by pulling her close into a fight embrace, clearly crying.

Keira hugged her back. It lasted a few minutes, before Annabeth pulled away and whipped her eyes.

Annabeth heavily sighed. She looked at Keira. "Do you have any siblings?"

Keira thought for a moment. "Well, I knowI have an older brother and older sister, but I never got a chance to meet them, yet"

Annabeth nodded. She knew that Thalia and Jason were her siblings. "Well, why dont we get a good night sleep." She tucked Keira in the top bunk and turned off the light. And soon, she was fast asleep.

It wasn't until late morning when Annabeth woke up. She heard laughter blurt out as she opened her eyes. She looked over and saw Keira sitting on Malcoms lap while he read to her.

Malcome noticed that Annabeth was waking up. "Hey sleepy head. Glad to see you are awake" he said smiling.

Keira got down off of Malcolm, walking over to Annabeth. "Mal is funny and he told me your name was.... Annie, no I ment Anna!"

Now it was Annabeth's turn to laugh. "Well, Its actually Annabeth, but you can call me Anna if you like."

Malcolm puts his hands on his chest and gasps. "So you are going to let KEIRA call you Anna but I CAN'T?!"

Annabeth gave him a stern look that ment 'she is a little girl, get over it.'

Malcolm says, "hmph!" And walked towards the door and opened it. "I'll be out her waiting while you get dressed. . . ANNA!"

And before Annabeth could get up to kill him, he shut the door. She heard him laughing outside.

"Who's this?" Keira asked, as she pointed to a picture of Annabeth and Percy. Annabeth blushed.

"Oh that's just Percy Jackson, my boyfriend"

Keira looked at her shocked. "You have a boyfriend? What's it like? Do you guys argue? How long have you guys been together? Is is fun? Are-"

"Woah, woah, woah, so many questions, you talk as fast as a lightning bolt. I'll answer all your questions after I get dressed, since you are already ready, okay?" Annabeth asked, as she made her way to the bathroom.

Keira happily nodded. Then Annabeth disappeared into the bathroom. While Keira waited for Annabeth, she picked out a photo album off the shelf and began to look at it.

10 minutes later, Annabeth emerged from the shower, wearing shorts with an orange camp t-shirt. He blonde hair was in a ponytail, as usual.

Keira looked up and closed the book. She was also wearing an orange t-shirt with short black overalls. Her icy blonde hair was staticing everywhere.

Annabethgiggled as she looked in her stuff for the hairbrush and a hair bow. Luckly, she had a black sparkly hair bow. So, Annabeth braided two medium sized braids and tied them to the back of her head, where the bow was in place.

Keira was in a rush to go outside. She grabbed Annabeth's hand. "Come on, Anna!" She said enthusiastically.

So, Annabeth and Keira went outside. She closed the door behind them. Malcolm was talking to Connor and Travis Stoll.

So, when Malcolm noticed them, he and the boys started walking towards the Dining Hall with Annabeth and Keira.
