True Colors

chapter 14

So everyone was having a grand ol' time. Meanwhile, Harley and Keira kept laughing and making jokes.

"One time, it was really hot outside, and the sun was gleaming,  there was this one bird in the sky, just flying and our of nowhere, a lightning bolt zapped it. When we went to go see where it landed, it turned out to be Frank Zhang, the while time." Harley said while laughing.

Keira laughed so hard, that her water came out of her nose, and she screeched. "HARLEY!?!" She playfully pushed him.

Which made Harley laugh even more at Keira's wet shirt.

"Stop laughing," Keira said, smiling.

But he couldn't, it was too funny. So Keira grabbed her goblet that was filled with water and poured it all over Harley's head.

His mouth gawked open as the water trickled down his back. He grinned at Keira. Only little did she know what that meant.

"Learn your lesson?" Keira asked, now, laughing at him.

Harley brushed his wet hair out of his face with one hand. "Come here and look at what you did to me!"

Keira leaned towards him and right then and there, Harley grabbed his water and splashed it in her face.

He got up so quickly and backed up. She stared at him for a few seconds and hot up to chase him.

Harley ran for his life.

At the table, the Stoll brothers and a couple people were all laughing.

Finally she tackled him and they rolled in the sand. She grabbed his hands. "I'm going to kill you!"

Harley laughed, and realized she was holding on to his hands. "I doubt that, why don't we have a race tomorrow, just me and you?"

Keira smirked. "Sure, but I'm not going to let you win."

Harley leaned in and kissed her, but this time, on the lips. "I wouldn't want you to"

Keira blushed. Harley let go of one of her hands but held onto the other one. She laced her fingers with his, and they walked back to the cabins, because, but now, the feast would be over.

When they reached Athena's cabin, Keira turned to Harley and asked. "When do I get to go to the Zeus cabin?"

Harley shrugged. "I don't know yet, but I'll see you in the morning!"

He gave her a hug. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow." She said, hugging Harley back.

And he left for his cabin, while she walked in the door.

When Malcolm saw her soaked, he laughed. "Oh gods! What happened?"

Keira rolled her eyes. "Long story"

She went to the bathroom, to shower and change into fresh new clothes. And when she finished, she said, "good night," to Malcolm and Annabeth and drifted of to sleep.
