It was six months and i was half way to finishing my training to be a hair dresser, but the best thing about it i was going to be opening my very own store, dad helped he set this up got me everything what was need and am also going to be adding a nail salon at a later date. The only problem was i still had no name for my store i still had four months to work this out so it can get sorted and put up.

Anyways the painters had finished all the stuff was getting put in and the furniture which was cream in colour with black, and a name has finally come to me after a few hours playing around but  it was hard my new store was going to be called 'sweet locks' now to tell dad so we can decide where its going and design and colour. We need it to stand out but not in ya face i was thinking black outloine with cream letters sounds amazing i was so excitied.

Finally those few months past and the moment had come for me to open my store, i had staff of my own there were friends i had made and needed a job they trained up just like me and one or 2 trained in nails aswell ready for the add on it was fab dad had the local newspaper there and a massive red ribbon for me to cut for thr store opening we were all dressed smart and in our work clothes which were black and cream to match my stylish store.

My dad stood proud as puch beside me as the papers took pics of us and the cutting of the ribbon also as we entered the store a glass of expensive vintage wine was handed to everyone and more pics where took even one of my whole new family me and dad hugging this is the life i dreamed of and my dad made this happen i was free and happy to be who i wanted to be at long last.

In the up coming days there were floods of cutomers we had to set out appointments so they could return as there was so many people wanting hair cuts and it was not expensive depending on what people wanted if it was a women cut average about $43 pesos and and an  man's haircut averages $28 pesos then for kids about $25-$30 pesos. Everyone was satifited with the cost and over the moon with the service they were given and some paid extra we were shared out into tips for my staff.

After a few months the money was rolling in my bank account was growing and the customers were still coming and new ones even people who came here to visit our city and all had fab things to say about us.

Now it was time for me to sort the add on i got my dads friend neil to draw up the plans and show dad and he got on with the work right away within 2 month it was ready and a different colours which were light bright and beaming and we named 'sweet nails'. And we had the same opening as before and all was well our 2 expect staff with nails and 3 who dad knew to help me out all sat waiting for customers which the door never closed it was amence but it was amazing i was able to stand on my own to feet at the young age of 16 just neede my own place but close to dad but he asked me to wait till i was 18 for this which i agreed.

But suddenly i saw a face i thought i would never see again or at least for a long time and i passed out dad grabbed me and lay me on the sofa with a cold glass of water ready for my awaken. Once i woke i sat up suddenly and looked around he was no where to be seen. Dad asked what wrong i told him i would tell him later after work before tea.
