I looked into the mirror as i did my hair and make up, i could feel myself getting a bit nervous as i was meeting a whole new family i knew of my dad's wife Lindy and her children with my dad there is Jose who is 13 yrs old, Antonio who is 9 yrs old and baby Rosa who is just 2 yrs old. They all have known about me from day one but not me of them but at least now we can all get to know each other, even though i do feel some what jealous as they had all this time with my dad and i had not but i guess i need to be the bigger person and just see through it and be happy am here now with a whole new family to love and protect.
So i head down and everyone is dressed and waiting for me dad says come on darling let me introduce you to the family and he went through them and we said hi and that, then we got into the cars and headed off to the restaurant called Cocina de Autor the only 5 star in the area. I was overwhelmed by it all but so happy.
It was an amazingly stunning restaurant here is a picture just to help with the imagine the price of the food was out of this world it was well out of my pocket but of course my dad had the money. As they say posh restaurant posh food but the taste danced round my mouth flavors i had not tasted before and i loved it i could get used to this i was thinking.

Our food was splendid we chatted, laughed and told stories of old times and things to look for in the near future. And in that moment i knew my place and i know where i wanted to be and it was with my dad it felt (feels) like home. This is what i always wanted and i just hope nothing gets in the way to try and spoil my new happiness, at that moment i decided to pull dad to one side to ask him if mam knew where i was and if she was fine about it all even though i know in my heart she would not care at all as she will be with him slopping all over her abusing her and the drinking and the drugs. But anyways thats them and my dad replied yeah she knows and she hope you are happy here she said she would like to see you in the future, but i told her that was up to you. I don't want to see her ever she made her bed let her lye in it this is my choice this is my life i don't want to get upset or angry, so lets get back to our meal and enjoy the night.
It was nearing to 10 at night and we went back home to relax and go to bed i said night to everyone and thanked them for accepting me and allowing me to come and live in their home, they smiled and said we are glad you are finally here with us we are now a complete family and we would not have it any other way i hugged them and headed up to bed. It was an eventful first day i was so tired i crashed but had plenty more to come and i could not wait to enjoy the rest of my life.
