We pulled up outside my house just before the sun came up. It was about six am and we'd made sure to take our time, to enjoy what we had together. There's going to be so much stress in the next few weeks with Rachel and Edward and, god just so much. Colby was out of the car first, gone within seconds down the pathway that lead up to the front door. "Such a gentleman." I teased as I climbed out of the car and locked it. I watched the pathway carefully in case my boyfriend decided to come back and actually walk and or run with me but he didn't. I had to walk by myself up to the front door and, hazar! It was open. The second I stepped into the house, my nose filled with a smell I'd never forget: lasagne. Pretty much my favourite food in the list of my favourite foods. I rushed to the source of the smell to see a tray of the stuff on the small kitchen counter and my boyfriend standing beside it, two empty plates in front of him. "What the hell?" Colby turned around wearing a huge smirk and motioned his head to the plates.

"Would you like some?" He knew exactly what he was doing to me. I sped to him, placing a gentle peck on his lips, then turned to the food. His arms wrapped around my waist and pressed our bodies together.

"Okay you know what, not what the hell; HOW the hell?" He chuckled and kissed my cheek, stepping away from me to put some of the Italian food into one of the plates.

"I may or may not have asked one of the neighbours." He said as he passed me the plate and started on his own. My eyes narrowed and my brain kicked into detective mode.

"When you say asked..." I saw the split second he glanced at me and groaned a little. "Can we not, please? I don't want to be using people like that." Colby spun around and stepped up close to me, one hand on my lower back.

"I promise you I actually did ask her and she said maybe later. Obviously, I just pushed a little for her to do it sooner." I stared into his eyes to see if he was lying. Eventually, I accepted his excuse and smiled, kissing him. It felt like forever before I caught a smell of the food again and pulled back immediately, rushing to the living room to put the TV on and eat. Colby followed shortly behind.
