It Hurts

********Shawn Pov*****

We all sat in the waiting room hoping Emma was alive and ok. We all looked like shit cause we have been crying so much. Jack has cried the most and he hasn't said a word in an hour. He just keeps his head down and sometimes you hear little sniffles. I didn't get a good look of Emma but I did see blood by her head which is never good and her face was bruised.

"I'm gonna go get food if anyone wants to come" Annabelle said. I got up and went with her. When we turned a corner Annabelle broke down and cried.

"Annabelle calm down she will be ok and she would never go knowing you are like this" I said hugging her and rubbing her back.

"I feel like someone should have gone with her cause she knew Jack knew I knew and Luke knew Kenny was looking for her" she said into my chest.

"It's ok you didn't know when he was gonna do it and he could have hurt you both" I said. We broke apart and got food from the vending machine.

We walked back to the room and took our seats. Then Luke spoke up.

"Is she gonna die" he asked tears in his eyes and lip quivering. Jenna got up and hugged.

"This is my fault I am such and idiot for not watching her I should have kept her close" Jack said looking up eyes all puffy and red.

"Jack stop you didn't know he was gonna do it then" Johnson said resting a hand on Jacks back. Gilinsky got up and walked away.

"I did know Kenny was gonna do something" he said before he turned the corner.

"I'll go after him" Johnson said getting up and following Jack.

******JJ Pov*******

I found Jack sitting against a wall crying, I sat next to him and put a hand on his back.

"JJ it hurts to think that she is gonna die when I am in charge of her do you know how much my family will hate me or how much I will hate myself" he said

"Jack she is gonna be ok and this isn't your fault" I said

"Why does everyone keep saying she is gonna be ok how do you know she could be dead right now for all we know" he asked. Then he started to breathe really hard so I knew he was having a panic attack.

"Jack calm down and breathe your mom won't want two of you here so just breathe" I said. Jack kept breathing heavily almost as if these were his last breaths and he was gonna die. I got up and went to get Sammy cause he knows too.

I ran into the waiting room and grabbed Sammy by his colllar dragging him to where Jack was.

"JJ what are you doing" he asked as we turned the corner. Then he saw Jack and understood. He sat on one side of Jack while I sat on the other.

"Jack calm down breathe think about something happy" I said

"Jack relax she is gonna be fine and she wouldn't want you to be like this" Sammy said. Then Jack started to calm down and breathe like a normal person.

"Thanks guys" he said. We put a hand on his back and said no problem.

*******Jack Pov******

I got up off the floor and went back into the waiting room, I sat down and kept quiet. Everyone kept quiet except cries now and then but other than that we are all silent.

My head hurt like crazy and I had a knot in my stomach. It feels like something was ripping my insides out and it felt like I was gonna puke. Then my phone rang and I answered it not even seeing who it was.

"Hello" I said

"Jack is Emma ok" the voice said and I soon realized it was Molly my older sister.

"Her head was bleeding and they won't let me see her" I said crying and biting my lip.

"Awe my little girl if you do see her give her a kiss tell her I miss there and I will be there soon" she said and I could hear her crying

"I will Molly and before you go I am scared" I said

"Just remember to relax and watch your breathing" she said

"Ok my Molly love you" I said

"Love you too" she said and then she hung up. I put my phone back in my pocket and cried some more.

"Gilinsky boys come here please" a doctor said. JJ and I got up and the doctor led us down the hall.

"Is she ok" I asked

"She isn't awake but she is breathing she has three ribs broken and her brain is damaged but not too bad she may have some memory loss and may have a hard time doing stuff she used to be able to do without help" he said. Oh my god this is bad she has brain damage and memory loss.

"Can we see her" I asked

"All of your guests can but if you two want a minute alone with her I will let them know in a minute ok" he asked and we nodded. He led us to her room and when we got in I saw Emma hooked up to a machine a bangage around her head and she looked bad. I immediately broke down and sat next to her.

"Emma you probably can't hear me but I just wanted to say sorry I should of watched you and made sure nothing happened to you I love you" I said and began to cry again.

"JJ here Emma and I love you like a sister which you know and I want to say we all miss you I need you to get better for me and mostly for Jack he really misses you" JJ said. Then I kissed Emma's forhead and held her hand.

Emma's hands were cold and they looked purple. Then all the guys came in and sat around Emma.

"What's the damage" Luke asked barley able to get it out.

"Three broken ribs memory loss and brain damage" I said. Then the only thing you heard was crying and heavy breathing epically me. I keep breathing really heavy and no matter how much I try to control it I can't.

"Jack calm down" JJ said. I have had enough of people saying that.

"I can't fucking calm down my little sister could wake up and not remember me. She could wake up and not remember who she is" I yelled and it felt good to get it out.

"Jack I think you need a walk" Jenna said rubbing my arm.

"Sorry I didn't mean to snap I just needed to get it off my chest" I said taking deep breaths.

"I figured" JJ said.

"It just hurts that she could wake up and forget all of us I mean am I the only one who cares" I asked

"I'm scared she will forget about me" Annabelle said

"If she forgets me my whole world will be flipped upside down cause I love her" Shawn said

"I only knew her for a short time but she was so funny and always so happy" Cody said

"What can I say Emma was my little buddy and she always worried about someone else even though she could have something that is eating her alive she still cared" Jake said

"She's not just my little sisters best friend she is my friend cause she always managed to make me smile even when I wouldn't want to" Sammy said

  "When we lived next to her she always wanted to wear my clothes cause she thought I had the best clothes and she always had a smile on her face" Jenna said

"She hated me but I loved her and when we met again she became my best friend I always liked being friends with her she is probably one of my best friends that is a girl" Luke said

"I have known her since she was born and I would always help Gilinsky babysit her she would always bug the crap out of me but that's why I loved her" JJ said.
