| ❀ SinB's Friendship & JK's Weirdness ❀|
Yerim braced herself for yet another day at school. Surprisingly enough, the previous day had not been a bad one. Neither had the day before that. She knew it had a lot to do with having had asked Jaehyun for JK's schedule. With that at hand, she was able to avoid him throughout the days. If she so happened to run into him out of chance she would spin around and walk the other way, acting as if she forgot something. Usually she would say out loud "Ah, yeah that's what I forgot." Mingyu would only give her a cocked eyebrow but stayed away for the most part.
The moment that Namjoon came in two days ago to explain as to why JK was the way he was, something in her cracked. Her worst fears came to be. She had been erased from Jungkook's memory, explaining why now he was JK and not the one she held a fond memory of throughout their years apart. Namjoon probably saw her as she retreated away from JK's side. How long had she been holding his hand and staring at him every time he murmured her name? She wasn't sure. All she knew was that she made it to the far corner of his room where a couch was and always had been. She sat down, brought her legs up to her chest and cried while burying her face in between her knees. She was no one to him. The thought ached her heart more than it should have.
An hour or so must have passed before Taehyung knocked gently on the door and told her they were going home. She vaguely remembered how Taehyung wasn't the only one to come by and talk to her. He was just the only one she heard and reacted to. Part of her knew how stupid it was—holding on to her crush on him for so many years. There wasn't much she could do. She liked Taehyung and for the meantime that was good enough for her to be okay with having come back. By the time he did come to take her home, she had stopped crying but every single utterance of her name from JK's mouth stabbed her heart again and again. Somewhere in his subconscious he knew her and remembered her. Yet she was not willing to risk his high fever and put his life in danger again. So, she did the only thing she could think of and hopefully he would think that he lost it by chance. She walked over to his bedside, removed the bracelet she had made him, whispered a sorry, and pocketed the bracelet as she left vowing to not come upon him again. She only caused him pain as he did she.
For the two days her plan was going fine. She did have Jaehyun come up to her and ask if she knew what happened to the bracelet due to JK freaking out about having lost it. She feigned ignorance and walked to her class. Ignoring as Jaehyun yelled out to stop lying, he never did ask her again. The past two days also meant a lot more of SinB talking to her. The first time dealt with her asking why Jaehyun and Mark dragged her along when JK fainted. Yerim simply said that she was supposed to help Mark with a school project and since they were leaving Jaehyun reminded her that she had to tag along. She lied to SinB about not knowing exactly why JK was like that that day.
Since that day, SinB would stick to her like glue whenever she had the chance. It was ruining her plan of staying away from JK if SinB wouldn't stop calling her name and waving every time they passed each other, regardless of whether or not she was alone or with JK and Mingyu. Or with just Mingyu. She noticed they seemed as close as they were with JK.
