hello this is an interview of Emmy07n on her book Who's Laughing Now

Who or what inspired the book?

I was reading a bunch of rejected books and the song Who’s Laughing Now was my favorite song then and one night the idea just kind of hit me. All of the twists and turns just kind of popped into my head as I wrote. 

Who inspired the characters Bryce and Gunner?

Bryce is kind of life me if I was more outgoing. Gunner was based on that one star guy in every school that every girl has had a crush on within some part of their life.

Why did you even want to write a story about a girl who is rejected and basically runs away?

It just kind of popped into my head on day. Haha. But I’m really a big fan of girls showing guys what they’re really made of and I thought that this kind of story was perfect for showing that.

Why did he mate her without her permission?

He never did mate her without permission. Fate decides who ends up with who and their little one night stand both had agreed to even if there was a lot of alcohol involved.

Why did her brother reject his mate Sylvia?

Basically Sylvia was dating a guy and then Charles got her into the school closet and raped her. While he was raping her they were caught and everyone thought that she agreed to it and she was basically deemed the school slut and took Bryce’s place after Bryce left. Derek didn’t want to be mated to someone like that.

Why is her brother in denial of the fact that his friend raped his mate?

Well he never really gave Sylvia a chance to explain herself or what really happened so he went the entire time thinking she had agreed to it.

Why did bryces father a mean horrible person?

It’s life. In life there is always that sick twisted person and sometimes you have to deal with that person no matter what. 

Are you going to do a short story about them in the future or are you just going to add bonus chapters of them in WLN?

I’m currently writing the sequel called How You Like Me Now and I have the short story The Love of Brynn and Bryce. 

Who is your favourite character and why?

My favorite character would definitely have to be Chris. He’s the best friend brotherly figure that I’ve always wanted and he’s one of the good people in the story that doesn’t really care about rumors like everyone else does.

What is your favourite chapter and why?

My favorite chapter would have to be Chapter 24. Charles finally gets justice for his raping and Gunner and Bryce get a little closer.

Why is it that he mated someone else and she ran away for?

Bryce and Gunner got into a fight because she didn’t want to mate with him just yet. She basically told him to screw someone else and he was so angry that he did. She ran away and a week later she was going to come back but he mated with someone that night. The reason why shall be revealed in the sequel.

In the sequel she is this heartless person who basically is trying to forget her mate. Why is she the way she is?

The one person that was made for her didn’t want her and got rid of their bond. The way she sees it is that now she can live a normal life and try her best to forget about her mate by screwing random guys.

What made you do the sequel? Why didn't you just end it as them living happily ever after?

Life isn’t always full of happy endings and I just never saw them getting together.

Can you give us any clue on when they will met again?

See will see him in a few chapters but they won’t actually meet for a while.

What do you have install in the next following chapters?

A bunch of drama and unexpected twists and turns.
