Wish upon, wish upon,
What I wish my life could be.
Wish upon, wish upon,
The man I wish was me.
I waste these days by wishing
For the life I could be leading
As my real life passes by,
The one I should be living.
All because I wish upon,
The things "that could have been".
Imagine what life would be
If we stopped the futile yearning,
If we spent our days by truly living,
Instead of only wishing.
