I love you, I think.
But I'm too scared to tell you.
What if you don't feel the same,
And I ruin the friendship we grew?
I don't think I can ever tell you,
Just how it is I feel.
I don't even know what is true,
But I think I know I love you.I love the way you show me
That kindness is never in vain.
I love the way you try to be
Someone who never has to feign.
I love the way your eyes ignite
When joy plays across your lips.
I love that smile of dazzling white,
That reminds me what it means to live.I love the love that you show your friends,
The way you make us all feel wanted.
I love that with you, I never have to pretend
To be someone who always feels undaunted.
I love talking with you about anything,
And the way your voice can calm me down.
I love the way your words never sting,
And I just love when you're around.I love your kindness, I love that you're wise,
I love your verity and I love your tries
To make me feel like someone again
That never has to use serotonin.
I love your smile and I love your eyes,
I love your beauty, but I love what lies
Beneath the surface of what shows,
I love your soul, what truly glows.Sometimes I wonder, do you feel the same?
Or am I maybe just overthinking this?
Is my imagination really to blame,
Or am I maybe someone that you could kiss?
Is it really possible that you could love me,
Or is this all my wishful thinking?
Could I really even think to be
A person that you're missing?Am I just lonely and tired,
Or could it be that this is real?
Could you really even love me,
And is this something that I can feel?
Do I tell you the truth, that I'm in love,
Or do I suffer on in solitude?
Is feeling wanted something I'm just deprived of,
Or is your love truly to be pursued?I think that I'm in love with you,
But could you ever love me back?
Am I being fooled by you,
Or do you really love me back?
And does it matter if you feel the same,
If I never tell the truth?
Will it hurt if you don't love me back,
If I never say "I love you"?
