Shaking Thing Up...
Chapter Eleven.
"So, what's our plan now?" Sapphire sighs.
"I just, I don't want to hurt him. You know? I guess no ones really got close enough to see what he was really feeling. And last night, I guess I did." I tell them. Sapphire looks up at me, her blue eyes glowing.
"It's just hard to believe that a guy like that actually has feelings." She mutters.
"Never judge a book by it's cover, sapphire." Kayleigh answers for me. I give her a sad smile.
"I think you should just go along with it, Dee. Just go with the flow and see where it goes from there." Kayleigh smiles back.
"Tell me one thing." Sapphire asks. I nod.
"Do you like him. Like like him?" she asks. I look down at my entwined fingers and study my finger nails.
"I think I might be starting to." I whisper. She sighs heavier this time and looks at me.
"I just don't like this. I mean, it was okay when no strings were attached but now you might like him? It's like sending you into a lions den." She says. I chuckle.
"He's not that bad."
"So you say." she sighs.
"Okay." she chirps up.
"What?" I ask cautiously.
"We are going shopping. then we are going to a salon to get our hair done." I laugh a tad.
"That's a little random."
"Well, we're all being sad now and I don't like being sad. So, let's get un-sad." She chirps.
"I'll just pretend that makes sense." Kayleigh laughs getting off the sofa and holding her hand out to me.
"Mom gave me her credit card, so, I'm good to go." I laugh. Pay-back's a bitch, Mom. She'll have a heart-attack when she see's her credit card bill.
"Wait, I need to do my hair." I take Kayleigh's hand and she pulls me up effortlessly.
"Just shove it up in a bun, Dee. We'll go to the hair salon first." she tells me. Kayleigh hands me a butterfly clip and I push my hair back then clip it in.
"Good to go." I say. We're half way out the door when I remember that the worker guy is still up the stairs. Sapphire seems to read my mind and jogs up the stairs for then comes back down a minute later.
"Don't worry, I made sure he won't steel anything." she laughs as I lead them to the garage.
"He should. Teach my Mom and Dad a lesson." I pick the black Ferrari this time and Sapphire calls shot-gun.
"you really hate them that much?" Kayleigh asks from the back once we're in.
"Nah." I tell her. "I hate them so much more."
Sapphire scoffs from beside me while Kayleigh sighs.
While Kayleigh tells me directions to the salon, since I'm new here and all, Sapphire plays with my CD's.
"You like Taylor Swift?" she asks. "I never put you down as a Taylor Swift fan."
"Well, looks can be deceiving. She's a good singer and her lyrics actually make sense, unlike other artists." I tell her. She nods as she puts the CD in.
Haunted, comes on. One of my favourite songs right now and I sing along. Kayleigh joins while Sapphire just stares at us.
"Gosh, you Taylor Swift lovers." she mutters once the songs over.
"Hey, in my defence, my sister plays this song over and over. So, I have to listen to it." Kayleigh says from the back seat. I park in one of the spots at the front and we get out.
"You have a sister?" I ask and she nods.
"She's my big sister but I've also got a little sister." She smiles affectionately.
"Cool." I smile back as Sapphire leads us into the mall and into a hair salon.
"Hey Sapphire." the woman at the front says. She's got short blonde hair and a pretty smile.
"Hey France."
France? What ever works
"So, what can I do you for today. How's your mama?" she asks Sapphire.
"She's fine. and we're here to get our hair done please. Dee here is going first." She points to me and I frown.
"Why me?" I ask. The woman leads me to a chair and I sit down.
"Because you're the one with the boy problems." sapphire shouts over to us.
"Yeah, thanks for telling the whole mall that, Sapphire." I say sarcastically. she rolls her eyes and both of them pull a chair up to where I'm sitting.
The hairdresser plays with my hair for a minute before looking at me.
"This isn't your natural colour isn't it?" She asks. Both the girls gasp and I sigh into my seat.
"Nope, I'm naturally blonde." I mumble which gets more gasps.
"No way! I thought that was real!" sapphire nearly shouts. I roll my eyes at her.
"I couldn't be bad ass if I was blonde, could I? I was going for a new identity so I died it black." I tell them. They nod.
"I think you should dye it back, France." Sapphire tells the woman and Kayleigh agrees.
"Uh, I don't want to be blonde! I don't want to be a bimbo!" I say and the lady gasps. I turn around and apologise.
"It's okay. I'm kidding. And I think you would look even prettier if you went back." she agrees. I sigh and tell her to go on.
I swear, if anyone of them gives me shit about my hair after this is done, I'm getting my gun right out at them. There won't be any stopping me.

Yeah, this chapter isn't so long. I actually don't like writing long chapters but do it once in a while anyways...
So what do you think? Think she'll suite blond hair? Coarse she will because Hilary Duff plays her and she's naturally blonde </3
