Shaking Things Up...

Chapter Fourteen.

Prescott looks at me, shocked, for a second before hi gaze softens and he leans in towards me. His teeth graze my ear as he speaks.

"I've never met anyone like you in my entire life time." He whispers, sending shivers down my spine. People start to whoop and shout around of us and I snap out of my little bubble. I pull lightly away and give a shy smile to Prescott.

"I'm- I'm gonna go get changed." I tell him before jumping out the pool and running up to my room, slipping along the marble floors. Once I get to my bedroom, I crash on my bed and bury my head in my hands. Noway did I just do that! It was a spur of the moment thing. It wasn't planned. It was just the way he looked at me in awe, like I was the best thing he's ever seen in his life, I guess that's what made me press my lips against his.

Oh God, he's going to laugh, isn't he. He doesn't like me, does he? I think over and over until I decide that I need to shower.

I quickly get under the hundreds of pressure pumps and hoses and let them wash all the salt water off me. Next I do my hair, rubbing my white pear scented shampoo in then rinsing it off.

I go out and realise that I've forgot to get towels, so I just wrap the small hair towel around me. It covers the most important parts, but barely. Walking out of the bathroom and into my bedroom, I click my Ipod on and 'Anywhere But Here' By Mayday Parade comes on. This has got to be my all time favourite song right now, so I quickly take a fresh pair of bra and panties out of my drawer and shove them on before checking that my curtains are closed.

Jumping onto my bed, I start dancing to the beat. No arranged dance moves, just random flipping of the body and arms. That just makes it all the more embarrassing when a cough comes from the door. I turn to the door and see a chuckling Prescott. He stops chuckling and blushes at my naked body.

"I'm-I'm sorry." He stutters, turning around. I quickly cross the room and throw one of the band Tees that my ex-boyfriend left at my old house. Finder's Keepers, Bioatch.

"You can turn round now." I tell him, blushing bright red.

He turns and blushes.

"I'm sorry. You're door was open and I wanted to talk to you then -" I cut him off by waving my hand in the air.

"I guess it wasn't the best idea to be dancing naked while three hundred people are down stairs." I chuckle. Now, thinking about it, I was kinda stupid. I guess I just got caught up in the music. I do that a lot. I could be sitting in the car with friends, listening to my Ipod, then a song I like would come on and I would belt it out. They would be like, WTF!

"Well, I'm glad you're not good at everything." He tells me and I frown.

"Oh! You know, you can do a lot of things. You're smart, beautiful, talented, you do some awesome back flips and Sapphire tells me you write. It's good to know you can't sing- It gives me a chance." He smiles.

"I can sing." I smack him on the arm but my smile slides and is covered with a confused one.

"A chance with me?" My voice comes out as a whisper and I blush red. Prescott shuffles his feet, something I'm learning is a nervous habit.

"Yeah, I like you Deeson. You're not like other girls." He whispers and I shiver.

"I- I don't know what to say." I tell him, blushing an even deeper shade of red.

"Just say you'll go out on a date with me. I promise I won't be a jerk and if you don't like it then you'll never see me again. I'll stay out of your-" I stop him by putting my hand on his chest, an automatic response I guess.

"I- I'd love to. You know, go out on a date." He smiles down at me softly.

"I had a feeling you were going to say that." It turned into a smirk and he lighted conversation.

"You're still wet." I state and he nods.

"I know, I'm gonna go home now, that's what I came up here to say." He chuckles.

"You got a ride?" I ask and he frowns.

"Hmm, I forgot about that. Porter's got the keys."

"I could drive you home, I mean, if you want." I add self-consciously.

"Sure, that would be great." We both stare at each other for a second before I break eye to eye contact.

"I need to, um, get changed. Why don't you wait for me downstairs?" I ask and he nods before leaving the room.  I dump myself onto my bed again.

I've just accepted a date with Prescott Austin. Way to go, Dee.

Yeah, I'm hoping I'm not going to fast here. Am I? I mean, I waited thirteen chapters to get them on a date. But it's not gonna end here, allot of stuff is gonna happen.

Is it too fast? Comment and vote please!! <3
