Yunho's alarm wakes him up at five a.m. and he sits up suddenly, remembering that today is in fact his first day at the new location. Every day for the past four years, Yunho has been working for an insane asylum, tucked away by the government, holding the most dangerous insane criminals the world has to offer. Yunho quickly begins preparing himself both mentally and physically for the day. If he were to be honest, waking up every day just to see disturbing people and talk to them was not the best job if one wanted to be mentally healthy. Yunho has begun feeling depressed as of late, and a switch to the new location, he figures, will do him well.
Yunho swipes his bangs over, and peers over to the mirror, staring at his own reflection.
"Good morning." He whispers to himself, almost expecting something to answer him, but only his reflection mirrors his pale lips, echoing his ghostly words. Sometimes he scared himself, and human contact was the only thing that could fix that, so he quickly pulls some clothes on, and drives to the nearest coffee shop, making sure to deadbolt his front door on the way out.
He arrives at the coffee shop, and walks in casually. He is wearing his white lab coat, and underneath only a tight black shirt, with tight black pants. He usually puts more effort into his appearance, but today he was in a hurry. He makes his way to the front of the line and in his quiet whisper-like voice, he orders black coffee, and waits for it at a stool by a window facing the busy road outside. It is raining, and he tilts his head to hear the sound of raindrops falling against the top of the window frame.
"Here you go....Yunho."
"Thank you." He smiles warmly at the young male who delivers his coffee, and then rises from his seat with his drink and exits the building. The rain falls down his face, and he lets it fall down his cheeks to mask the tears that start to fall along with it. Even though he is crying, he can't tell which is tears and which is rain, convincing him that he isn't even crying at all. He is able to do that easily now, ever since he started that job of his.

"Yunho, you made it! Excited for your first day?" A rapid talking Wooyoung greats Yunho at the door, and immediately gets in his face with the most enthusiasm Yunho has ever seen.
"I suppose so." Wooyoung laughs at his comment, and takes him by the arm to give him a tour of the off site location of the corporate business that holds branches of asylums. This location in particular was the most secretive, but of course, no one told Yunho that. Wooyoung used to work with Yunho at the prior location when Yunho had just started, but moved here when employees were needed.
"You know Yunho, you used to have so much life in you, what happened to you?" Wooyoung now matches Yunho's much slower pace as he takes in the scenery around him. One sided glass reveals the most normal of the insane patients at the level they are standing. The patients clothed in white with a room only consisting of a small bed and a desk.
"This location seems to have much higher security." Yunho says, dodging Wooyoung's personal question.
"Well it houses the most dangerous people, so it's bound to be higher security." Wooyoung sort of sings this out and Yunho cringes at his positivity.
"I don't think I knew that. At least I'm getting paid more. Anyway, it's great talking to you and all, but could you tell me what my job is." Yunho stares at Wooyoung whose face falls at Yunho's attempt to professionalize their conversation.
"Fine." Wooyoung begins with a sigh, "So basically you just have to head down whatever hallway you are assigned for the day, and talk to each patient for at least a half hour. There are guards everywhere so you should be safe. Don't leave your pen in their room, and no matter how manipulative they are, please don't let them touch you or have anything that's on your person." Wooyoung disappointedly describes his responsibilities as if reading out of a textbook.
