"Do you want me to carry you or can you walk yourself?" Mingi's voice sounds so much more gentler than Yunho had ever heard and he stirs from his unconscious state to look at the male holding the door back while he looks at Yunho sprawled out in the back seat. He swings his feet around to sit up properly, resulting in his head spinning and his entire shin to burn. Before he can exit the car himself, Mingi's strong arms carry him bridal style up and out of the car. He sets him down after a moment, and allows Yunho to walk against him like a crutch all the way up to the front door of the base.
Yunho is honestly too out of it to react, but he allows the aid, recognizing it is his only choice at the moment. Once they are inside, Mingi calls over Jongho, and he helps Yunho into a sitting room he hasn't seen before. Mingi is gone then, and Yunho doesn't have the energy to watch where he goes. He definitely will have something to say about him carrying him without waiting for Yunho to respond, it was disrespectful really.
"Makes sense that you would be stupid." Yeosang snips, holding some medical tools. And as he approaches Yunho from the mysterious corner he had appeared from, he scoots a stool over to his leg that Jongho elevates on an ottoman.
"Damn, that's a really deep cut." Jongho mutters, and Yunho cries out as quietly as he can while Yeosang applies the hydrogen peroxide.
"It's dirty too, I wouldn't be surprised if you got an infection from this. How far were you pulled on the concrete? Some burns might reveal themselves while this heals."
"Yeah I know how it works." Yunho spits out, propping his own back with a pillow and biting his hand while Yeosang picks out some debris.
"Jongho, go get me a warm rag, put some of this on it." It looked like soap, and Yunho groaned in relief when Yeosang stopped messing with the cut that just stopped bleeding then as he compressed it with some paper towels.
"How did you know it was a sidewalk cut?"
"I've been in the field a while. Actually I used to be a pediatrician before my work at the mental hospitals. Somewhat new with psychology, though I minored in it for my bachelors'.
"You have your PhD though?"
"Yeah it's just a regular old medical doctorate, nothing special. Even though I practically skipped high school and two years for my bachelors. I was ahead by a lot, so I got bored easy and had trouble picking something to doctor in. Of course I would be fickle minded and resort to what's happening now." The compression is removed and is replaced with the warm soapy rag, and he gently glides it along the twelve inch long slice down his shin.
"You had that job where I was just working before all of this. How long were you there?"
"Actually, it was only my second month when we started the whole scheme. Like I told you, it was mostly for the money, though It's easy for me to get side tracked. Especially since I've known Mingi for so long."
"Really?"
"His little gang killed my sister, fucking hate the guy really. But you learn to forget those things... Over time." Seemingly out of nowhere, he opens an altoid container and takes a few. He focuses back on Yunho's cut.
"It sounds like everyone forgives him too easily." Yunho comments, biting the inside of his cheek while his leg is wrapped tightly with gauze.
"It wasn't by his hand, I can't blame him. Towards the end of his career with his first batch of trained killers, he wasn't involved much. He kept to himself, a vigilante killer for the sake of killing. Not very rewarding for him. So your case here gave him some inspiration. I think it changed him a little bit."
