"Oh my God, Yunho!" Yunho is quickly pulled into a bone crushing hug as soon as Wooyoung opens the door, and San laughs nervously, ready to get recognized when Wooyoung lets go. "I thought you were dead...You're going to be in so much trouble where did you go? This is crazy, I should call the poli-"
"No, don't do that, Woo." San pipes in, waving shyly when Wooyoung finally turns his attention to the male.
"Sannie, I-What's going on?" Yunho understands why his friend is suspicious. After not explaining everything at the hospital to completely ditching Wooyoung entirely that same day, Yunho has a lot to apologize for. Still, part of him worries Wooyoung doesn't care like he used to, even if rationally he knows it isn't true.
"Can we come in? And talk?" San asks carefully, pulling Yunho closer to the door, and Wooyoung has no choice but to let them in, and Yunho knows he wouldn't be so cold as to reject them.
Wooyoung clears off two chairs, stacks of papers fill every crevice. Pencils scatter the hard wood flooring, and random scratch marks etch at the walls around his desk. Yunho knows he is an anxious guy, but after not seeing him for a while, this is shocking. He motions for both San and Yunho to sit, and they do, San not even sparing a second glance at the mess. Everything is perfectly clean, the smell of bleach permeating through the air, but the clutter is not to missed. Of course Yunho understands being busy, but one look at Wooyoung's blood shot eyes has him worried out of his mind.
"I can't believe I was so fucking worried about you for so fucking long, and you were with San the entire time? I don't even know what's fucking going on, I hired a private investigator after the security footage showed you running away with some random guy. We couldn't even identify him." Wooyoung spirals into unintelligible sounds, and Yunho is quick to intercept, just wanting to calm him down.
"Woo, hey listen." He gets his attention, and Wooyoung slowly sits down at the next free chair, breathing shallowly before looking quite eager to hear a proper explanation.
"Would you believe me if I said everything is okay?" Yunho tries first to clear the heavy atmosphere but Wooyoung only gives him a dirty look, catching San's eye and almost choking on thin air.
"We're actually worried about you, Woo." San attempts to turn the conversation so they don't have to reveal the entire situation. The more people that know everything, the more risk they have to hurting everyone involved. Though, if San was right, Wooyoung would have been in danger either way.
"Don't turn this around, I'm perfectly fine. I'm not the one showing up practically dead at the edge of the forest, and getting kidnapped by random people." Wooyoung retorts, folding his arms and turning his head to Yunho.
"Mingi isn't random." Yunho suddenly mutters, seemingly against his control, and he mentally slaps himself for the slip up. San glares for a second and motions for him to explain.
"Mingi? As in the most dangerous criminal at the asylum, Song Mingi?" Yunho painfully nods, hoping he won't be too mad, especially if he ends up telling him the whole truth. Wooyoung gets up then, walking over to a folder lying precariously on a counter and comes back with a piece of paper for Yunho to look at. "Do you see this? He's so messed up, please tell me you weren't kidnapped by him and now you have fucking Stockholm syndrome and you're going to die and I'm not going to be able to save you-"
"Wooyoung I'm going to tell you some things, and you aren't going to like them, but you have to keep an open mind." Yunho has to interrupt his thoughtful rant once again, and Wooyoung looks utterly exhausted, even more so than he ever has, and it makes Yunho shiver with some hidden layers of pain.
"Fuck, what?" Wooyoung dizzily sits back down, and San laughs slightly, obviously not caring that Yunho and Wooyoung are in a much more serious space right now. Yunho takes a second to look at the page Wooyoung gave him detailing some of the crimes on Mingi's criminal report. Yunho almost laughs at how few they covered, though they hadn't caught him until some slip up when he was high and drunk, so a lot of his past was unwritten. Yunho's job, before everything went down of course, was to fill in those gaps through therapy.
