Yunho was home, perfectly surrounded by an even layer of silence and uneasiness. The walls seem to be staring at him as he lies on his bed, trying desperately to calm his ocean of a mind, his eyes darting back and forth and blinking sporadically. It takes hours for Yunho to finally fall asleep, and he awakes to none other but the same empty and silent bedroom he was in the night before, the lazy light seeping into the previously pitch black room, removing the spooky atmosphere. Of course Yunho was still uneasy, but the broad daylight always helped sooth any uncertainties of the day. Besides, Yunho had trained for this job his entire life, one measly patient shouldn't ruin everything for him.

Breakfast was a piece of toast, and from there, Yunho dresses. A simple plain gray shirt with black jeans, his white lab coat covering both. Placing his badge square on the left breast pocket of his coat, he trudges slowly to his car, the sun unable to lift his semi catatonic state as he departs.

The roads are eerily empty, maybe three or four cars appearing every five minutes, no cars parked at the local businesses. Yunho finds nothing out of the ordinary though, as he drives on autopilot, his mind filled with Mingi. He's a criminal, nothing more. Telling himself that, however, does nothing but increase the variety of thoughts, his mind wandering. There Yunho is, at a red light, thinking about Mingi's lips of all things. Now, his first impression wasn't Mingi's appearance and silky deep voice, was it? He couldn't be sure, but at this light, Yunho's mind led him to thoughts unfit for the workplace. So much so that he had to take a few deep breaths before entering the institution upon arrival.

Just like how the absence of cars on the road earlier didn't phase Yunho, neither did the absence of coworkers in the building. Yunho grabs his clipboard from the first slot in the main office space before heading out to hallway X to begin his job. Something stops him in his tracks, an all too familiar voice.

"Doc, where do you think you are going?" Yunho's breath leaves him, as he turns around slowly to meet the presence behind him at eye level. There was the man that dominated his thoughts the whole previous night, the soft eyes, yet cruel demeanor.

"Wh-why are you out of your cell? Wai-I- where is everyone, Mingi what did you do?" Yunho can't help but snap out of his trance and realize fully his morning. Puzzle pieces being put together as he fully grasps the situation. The entire building is in shambles, papers ravaged, computers tossed about, no guards, no staff, cells opened. Something terrifying loomed over his head though as he thought about the roads he drove on in the morning. Instead of the early morning traffic he always experienced without fail, there was virtually no one, and it wasn't even close to a holiday. "Who did you kill Mingi, just tell me."

"Ha- wouldn't you like to know, and while I told you the story about the people I killed, you could write a cute little report about it on your clipboard, and turn it in to the boss. Then you'd go home all safe and happy leaving us insane people, criminals who just so happened to be crazy enough to escape jail, to rot, to go insane if we weren't already. And you were all good with that weren't you?" He scans Yunho's face before continuing "Aw, I've scared the poor doctor. Don't worry, I'll answer your questions later. For now, we are going on a little trip, sound good?" With that Yunho is taken by the wrist and dragged out to the parking lot, clipboard clattering to the ground sometime before they got outside.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Somehow Yunho finds himself in his own car, but he isn't the driver. Mingi buckles his seatbelt before aggressively accelerating out of the parking lot and onto the main road with zero inhabitants to witness what seemingly appeared to be a kidnapping. Something in Yunho told him to trust the psychotic patient of his, but the reasoning part of him was too scared to take action against him. Mingi, if not insane, was extremely violent, so Yunho knew resisting would be in vain.

"You've inspired me doc. If without you...I would never be here, outside. You smell good by the way." Mingi smirks a little, before turning to the left sharply and stopping suddenly in an abandoned parking lot at a local diner. Yunho only looked at Mingi curiously, still not responding to anything the other said, just trying to comprehend, to maybe analyze the other, so that he could solve the obvious problem on his hands. "You must be hungry." Yunho starts to protest, but Mingi stops him, "If you aren't, you'll need something anyway because I won't feed you later." Yunho simply nods before exiting the car, sticking to Mingi's side. "What's up doc? Yesterday you seemed to have the upper hand, did something happen?" Mingi's own sarcasm makes him laugh hysterically, but Yunho only walks towards the diner, unimpressed.

A menu is placed at the booth, and a young woman pulls out a pad of paper to write their orders on. Mingi smiles at her, and it is at this point that Yunho notices how Mingi isn't even wearing his asylum uniform or chains, wearing a plain white shirt with a jean jacket, and white pants. Yunho would even say it suited him, but he wasn't about to compliment his kidnapper. Once both Yunho and Mingi ordered, as casually as possible, Mingi stopped the waitress.

"Not a lot of business this morning, huh?"

"I guess not, why, did you hear something?"

"No, just trying to show my friend here, something." The waitress, confused, simply walks off to hand the order off to the kitchen, and Mingi looks at me expectantly. "You're no fun, you know that? Like pretend to be threatened of me or something, act scared, I like that." Yunho drinks his water and continues to stare at the other, still too bewildered to even ask questions. "At least answer me this, do you value your life Doctor Jung?" Mingi asks with a serious tone, and Yunho is taken aback, sitting upright before seriously contemplating his response. Some time passes and Mingi doesn't even pry, just studies Yunho seriously, waiting expectantly for him to speak.

"I suppose I don't." Yunho states and shrugs before taking another sip of water. Yunho has always been depressed, but while the answer was the truth, it was also strategic. If Mingi thought Yunho didn't value his life, he wouldn't target Yunho specifically, but rather things Yunho cared about, which at this point, was basically nothing. Mingi growls at the response, and grabs the neck of Yunho's shirt, lifting him up some.

"I'm going to fucking change that Doctor Jung." He releases Yunho, and Yunho scoffs at the other who acted with no thought. Mingi wants a reaction out of Yunho, and Yunho will do everything he can not to allow him the satisfaction of his reaction. Still, there are some things one cannot prepare for, and Mingi standing up and forcing Yunho into the bathroom only to pin him against the wall was one of them. Blood rushes to Yunho's face as Mingi hovers over him at an uncomfortable distance. Their hips are flushed against one another, but there is no movement, and their faces are still suspended some distance away from the other.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing Mingi?" Yunho switches from his flustered self, to try and push Mingi away, but Mingi is much stronger, and he continues to force Yunho against the bathroom wall.

"I'm going to kiss you, and you are going to fucking kiss me back." And that is exactly what happened, as Mingi forces his lips against Yunho's, their lips then moving against each other in perfect tandem, inseparable for a good five minutes, when they finally catch a breath. They distance themselves, and Yunho angrily storms out of the bathroom, and sits back at the booth. Mingi trots after him, and again sits across from him, smirking slightly, and beginning to eat his food.

"I'm in for a ride." Yunho shakes his head and stuffs some pancakes in his mouth before he embarks on the most dangerous and confusing chain of events he will ever experience.
