"Okay, now hold it straighter. Keep your shoulders lax. Alright, now focus." San traces along Yunho's shoulders, feeling the position so he can tell if it is as horizontal as he can be. A target is placed a long distance away, and San is teaching Yunho how to shoot one of his sniper rifles. Being the sniper on the team, San is also in charge of instructing Yunho on his offensive game, though Yunho only feels embarrassed that he is such a beginner. Surely training to work at a psychiatric hospital should require firearm skills, but Yunho hasn't received anything like that, only some hand to hand which benefits him little for his situation.
"What if he moves? How am I supposed to adjust?" San presses a button on the remote which moves the dummy to the right and left slowly, throwing Yunho off considerably. He sighs, trying to readjust, but his tired eyes won't let him.
"Watch the scope. Now hold aim, and shoot!" The long rifle has a silencer that muzzles the gun, so only the sound of it piercing the air can be heard in the completely silent room. Both San and Yunho hold their breath as it hits part of the target. "It hit the stomach." He sounds disappointed, and Yunho slumps down from his crouched position on the floor.
The room is built for this type of training, some shelves with various firearms, assorted targets leaning against the walls, and of course the dummies that line the far back wall. Yunho looks at his indent in the dummy's shoulder, silently cursing at himself for still not getting it right.
"Look, maybe it's best we move onto a a regular handgun. You'll be in close quarters anyway if all goes as planned." San tries to comfort his obviously frustrated student, but Yunho simply cannot justify moving on. He is a failure. Especially for giving into all of this garbage. "Or we can take a break?" San looks sympathetic, but even Yunho can tell he is beginning to be fed up with Yunho's incompetence. Anyone would.
"Yeah, whatever." Yunho mutters, rising to stand properly and place his gun in one of the cubby-like shelves.
"San, Hongjoong needs you." Yunho's body visibly stiffens when he hears the voice which calls San back, but he refuses to look towards it. San eagerly takes the opportunity to leave, and Yunho can't blame him, he wasn't exactly being open minded.
Once San is out of the room, Yunho starts to walk toward the exit himself, not glancing at Mingi. He is caught quickly, though, Mingi's fingers wrapping around his neck.
"Are you being difficult, doc?" Mingi lets go slowly, walking toward the shelves, and grabbing one of the handguns. He presses the barrel against the back of Yunho's head, tracing random patterns with the cold object. He presses harder for a moment before he turns Yunho's shoulders so that he would face Mingi as he aims at the target.
Mingi's aim is flawless, the bullet piercing where the faint outline of a heart is on the dummy. There is no silencer so each shot rings throughout the room, echoing in his ears. Yunho watches as the male adjusts some settings with the remote and begins again, his sleeveless tank top not helping Yunho with his ability to watch the technique. A few more shots, all in the heart as the dummy moves faster and faster back and forth.
"Care to try again, for me?" He blows on the barrel of the gun like any cheesy crime movie, earning a smirk from Yunho who was previously too stubborn and frustrated to enjoy any of the training.
"I haven't tried this one yet." He says softly watching as Mingi runs his fingers over the much smaller gun.
"It's easier than the rifle, here." He hands it to Yunho, and adjusts the settings again so the dummy is stationary. "Alright be ready to brace the recoil." He grips Yunho's waist tightly as he positions him, feet spread more evenly. There is no scope on the handgun so Yunho has to trust his hand eye coordination for a moment, holding the gun as steady as he can manage.
