Ch. 10

It didn't take long before evening really did break over the palace Vee was in her room getting ready for dinner since she was following the rules. She was wearing her best dress shirt which had no sleeves and a pair of black jeans and pumps left her hair loose but she had brushed it to make sure it was neat. She was also wearing her cherry blossom necklace she loved it the most. She checked one more time in the mirror before going out luckily Leo showed her around in where she could go and can go as she pleased but never out of the boundaries of the castle. She promise that she'll stay inside the castle at all time.

Vee was now walking down the hallways towards the dinning room where dinner will be held. She looked to the side to see the beautiful garden Leo showed her all the different kinds of flowers and plants. They have it was beautiful and it made her feel a bit at home even though she misses the cabin. She bet that Jessica won't last for an entire week there without complaining whatsoever it made Vee snort at that thought.

It didn't take long before she arrived at the dinning room where the rest were waiting for her but luckily dinner hadn't started yet Leo turned to see Vee well dressed making him smile at her, "Glad to see you joining us." He said and pulled out a chair for her Vee took a seat smiling as he pushed it forward so she sat close to the table Leo also sat close to her smiling, "So uh what are we having for supper?" She asked a little nervous that she was sitting at a royal table with Leo and his father also with the few of his friends.

"Oh I think it will be different this time since we have you as our guest Vee they want to make sure that you're comfortable here." Donnie said smiling Raph agreed with him.

"And I'm sure that they will make it worth the wait." They heard another voice and it made Vee and Leo stiffed and out of the blue Jessica came in dressed in a fancy short pink dress which reach above her knees and she took a seat across from Leo which made him glare at her but she didn't give a care in the world she will do what pleases her.

"Jessica I thought you'd be going this afternoon?" Splinter asked her in surprise she looked up at him, "I was going to but then I thought I could stay here for dinner and I'll be leaving after we had dessert." She said but Leo knew that she stayed so she could try to get closer to him and Vee saw that but she wanted to stay out of this she really didn't like being in the middle but she'll ignore Jessica.

Not long dinner was served and Vee was indeed enjoying this they had made dinner the same way she and her grandfather would make the rest loved it. Jessica however didn't she thought it was ridicules that they would make something like this but she ate it nevertheless. "So Vee what do you think of the food?" Mikey asked as he was stuffing his mouth with more Vee smiled after she chewed her food and swallowed. "It's absolutely delicious! I love how the chicken is juicy but everything else taste so good!" Vee said taking another bite from her chicken smiling.

Leo smiled as she was enjoying it but it wouldn't always be like this but this was for a special occasion but he knew Jessica wasn't enjoying this even though she was eating it she hated it but she luckily kept it for herself. "So Vee what would be your favorite dessert to have?" Raph decided ask about it and it made Vee smile and she started to think.

"Well my favorite would defiantly and either be a chocolate mousse pudding or hot chocolate pudding I love how the chocolate would melt in your mouth just like that and leaves a delightful feeling in you stomach." Vee said being honest since the last time she had that Jessica rolled her eyes and perked up.

"Well my favorite dessert will be of a more French type I don't go for something silly as that what you just said my dear." She said as she took a bit out of her chicken Vee looked surprise at her that she thought her dessert choice was silly. "That was unnecessary Jessica I suggest you behave yourself." Splinter said seeing what she was trying to do. Vee kept Leo calm by holding his hand under the table but Jessica being a snob looked at Splinter.
