Ch. 5

Morning came rather quickly the sun was shining bright today showing the brand new that that was being blessed. Vee was sleeping comfortable she started to wake up since the sun was shining she sat up yawning she scratched her head a bit. She looked to her side and saw that Leo was still asleep smiling a bit she slowly got out of the bed putting on her rob and slippers.

"Did you sleep well Victoria?"

Vee smiled and turns to see Leo was now awake smiling a bit and he looked much better rested then what he looked last night. "Yes I did thank you for asking...you also seem you have slept well." She said as she got up Leo chuckled and sat up, "I have actually after you helped me to get a little better." He said also getting up but being careful with his leg he saw Vee wanted to help but smiled, "No need Victoria I just need to be very careful with it and besides I need to walk for a bit." He said

Vee stared at him a bit then she nodded and lets him but was just going to be close to him in case he couldn't stand anymore and wanted to sit down. They both walked out of the room and to the kitchen to get something to eat. When they entered the kitchen they saw that Christopher had already made breakfast for them.

"Good morning young once...I thought I made us all breakfast so we can sit and eat together I hope you will enjoy." He said going quickly to get the juice Vee and Leo looked at each other but they shrugged they're shoulders and went to sit down to eat. "So Victoria why were you up so late last night?" Christopher asked breaking the moment of silence Vee looked up at him after she took a bite of food.

"Uh I had a nightmare grandfather...I was going to make tea but then I heard Leo...I went to check on him he had a fever and his bandage by his leg was slightly bloody so I quickly aid him to help bring his fever down and clean his leg and he was fine again." Vee said with a smile Leo smiled a bit as he continued to eat Christopher saw the smile and knew that Vee wasn't going to tell him that she had slept in Leo's room for comfort but he wasn't going to say it. "Alright...are you planning on training today young one?" He asked her Vee looked up with a smile nodding, "Yes...and Leo can watch if he likes since he is in no condition to spar against me." Vee said making Leo look up at her in surprise.

Christopher laughs a bit, "Alright but perhaps you can let him help you a bit with your sparing and with your target practice Victoria. He may give you a thing or two about them if you like." He said to her Vee looked up and then nodded at him she quickly finished her breakfast and got up to get changed. Leo also finished his breakfast and was about to do the same but Christopher stopped him, "Leonardo may I have I word with you for a moment." He said making Leo stop getting curious he nodded and sat back down facing him.

"Yes Christopher?" He said a bit nervous hoping that he wasn't in trouble but Christopher eased his nerves when he smiled a bit, "Do not worry boy your not in trouble I wish to talk to you about Victoria." He said to him becoming a bit serious Leo saw that it was something serious. Christopher saw that he was listening so he continues, "I want to thank you Leonardo...for risking your life in protecting Victoria from the shadow creatures you fought against and was almost defeated by them." Christopher said Leo placed a hand on his shoulder and then stroke it down to his arm and frowned a bit when he was reminded of what happened.

"Yes I know it was a risky thing she did...but if I didn't taught her about different types of shadow creatures and about their weaknesses. You would have surely perished and she would be in the hands of the evil one...so I am glad that she saved you she wouldn't have lived another day if she knew that she had lost her friend just like she had lost her parents." He said making Leo looked up in surprise that Vee would have suffered if anything happened to him as if he was already her mate but they had only met about two days ago but it just showed that the bond will get stronger later on in the future if they were careful.
