TMNT - We're meant to be together!

Ch. 8

Vee stood in horror as she saw that the front of the cabin looked destroyed and that the door was forced opened. She also saw that some of the furniture was outside but then she thought of something else which scared her too. She let go of Leo's hand and rush toward it which snapped Leo out of his thought when he saw Vee run towards the cabin.

"Vee wait!" He yelled and went after her but she was far ahead of him she ran as fast as she could not caring at the moment to look around for safety. She got to the door it was indeed forced opened she struggled a bit before she was able to move the door and head inside. She stopped gasped in horror when she saw how wrecked her home was. It looked like there had been a struggle between her grandfather and the many people that had been in here with him. He had to fight with, there were a few broken objects and some of the furniture destroyed but then she remembers why she came in and started to look around.

"Grandfather?!" She called out as she started to search for her grandfather while calling for him. She saw blood splatter against the wall or droplets of blood as she looked around. She hoped that it wasn't his blood but it still scared her to think about it, "Grandfather?!" She called out looking in his room, the kitchen, bathroom and her room just incase which to her surprise that it wasn't wreck. Just her stuff had been look through what it looked like and that it doesn't look like anything has been taken away but that didn't concern her now. She had to find her granddad and make sure his okay but she hoped that he was.

"Grandfather?!" She called again to him then she went to the dojo they had and saw the sliding door broken off she looked inside and then she saw him but he was under rubble, big ceiling pieces and wood had crash on him she gasped in shock and horror, "Grandpa!!!" She yelled out she pushed the slide door as hard as she could it opened before she dazed in and to her grandfather. She got to him and saw that he was alive but the ceiling pieces were crushing him Vee looked at him as he moved a bit to look up a line of blood on the side of his head.

Vee begun moving the smaller pieces off from him but when she got to the big pieces she had trouble in moving them of her grandfather. She struggled but kept trying to lift them up but they were too heavy for her. She tried to lift them up again but then another pair of hands came in lifting them up with her. She knew none other that it was Leo helping her lifting up the heavy pieces and tosses them to the side. Vee moved him out from under the rubble after Leo lifted up the wooden beam and lifted up the ceiling piece he tossed them to the side and then went over to him and Vee.

Vee looked up to him serious and scared, "Move him to the guest room I'm going to get the first aid kit so we can patch him up!" She ordered Leo nodded and gently lifted Christopher making him groan in pain it brought tears to Vee's eyes. She held them back as she quickly went to get the first aid kit from the kitchen and any other supplies she and Leo might need. It was hard for her to keep in the tears as she got the things she had gotten a basket out and place the supplies inside after she had done that. She quickly went to the room where Leo had placed her grandfather down on the bed making sure he was comfortable but he started to come around.

"W-Where's Victoria?" He asked worried Vee was there in a flash as she places the stuff on the table that was next on the bed, "Here, I'm here." She said as he looked up with weak hazel brown eyes and he smiled weakly at her.

"Thank the heavens that you're alright!" He said Vee couldn't hold in the tears anymore when she heard that and hugged him he tighten his hug around Vee. She had buried her face in his shoulder she wished that he could sit up but he was hurt. She cried in his shoulder a bit she pulled away the tears still stream down her face, "L-Let's get you patched up." She said as she handed Leo some things to begin to clean his wounds and try to bandage him.

"Who did this to you? Who caused you harm?" Leo asked as he was busy with his leg Christopher winces a bit but was able to answer him, "It was...his henchmen and daughter." He said it made Leo stop with wide eyes looking up with a shock look.
