Chapter 2 Quarantine

        Skull stood frozen in place, trembling in horror. He stared at Army's lifeless body, and began to breathe in a panicked manner. He sobbed softly.

"Wh-what.... what do i do..." Skull began to panic. "this can't be happening.... this just can't.... I HAVE TO CALL RIDER!!"

Skull panicked dialed Rider and waited until he picked up.
"Hello?" Rider answered.
"RIDER, RIDER IT'S ME SKULL...."
"Oh Skull, you're back so soon?"
"um... no.. it's Army.... he's..... HE'S DEAD!"

"WHAT!!! Don't panic, I'll contact the rest of the S4 and Team blue and we will be there shortly..."
"okay, thanks Rider....." Skull hung up and waited for them.

When everyone arrived Headphones and Specs immediately went to calm and comfort Skull who was visibly shaken. Mask and Aloha began to question him. Everyone seemed worried.

"Is everything okay?"Goggles asked
"why don't you see for yourself........" Skull said softly.
Mask opened Army's front door and stepped inside, "Um Skull, there's noting here..."
"WHAT!?!" Skull screeched.

Everyone rushed to look inside. Army's body was missing!!

"Oh crud.... that's a lot of ink and blood, everywhere...." Specs said in shock and disbelief.

"NO I SAW HIM!!! HE WAS RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF ME!!!! HIS BLOOD IS ON MY GEAR!!!" Skull said horrified.

"Skull, are you sure you saw him?" Aloha asked.
"OF COURSE I'M SURE!!!! HE'S OUR BEST FRIEND!!!!" Skull began to tear up.
"Army...... gone...." Bobble began to tear up.
"But where did his body go, zombies don't exist... right?" Goggles asked.
"Of course they aren't real!" Rider snapped.
"Well, i called Moona... she's on her way.... if anyone one of our friends knows how to examine the dead and murder scenes, it's her....." Mask said.
"Okay....." Skull replied.

They all waited outside of Army's house to await the results.

"It's okay Skull... everything is going to be okay, sweetheart...." Headphones comforted.

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN..." Skull sobbed.
Aloha sat facing away from everyone panicking, "This can't be happening.... this can be happening!"

Moona walked out "The results just came in....." everyone turned to look at her "there postive... the ink and and blood..... all his... it seems old, like it's been there for a few weeks.... but i'm unsure of how his body disappeared without splatting...."

"A few weeks.... it must have been after the meeting...." Rider said.
"Oh my cod...." Specs said sadly.

"HE MUST BE STILL ALIVE, HE CAN'T BE GONE!!!" Aloha shouted, "AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE INK IS HIS!!!!"

Moona sighed, "I'm sorry but it's likely that he did this to himself....."

"Are you crazy!? He'd never do that! He'd talk to his friends first!!!" Bobble shouted.

"I could be wrong but that could be the case, but only his figner prints show up on his N-Zap....." Moona said, "well there were some other prints that seemed really recent but, I can't make out who it was...."
"What kind of person would do this to him...." Aloha asked.
"We don't know if it was another person..." Moona said.

"If Army was alive, he would be here with us right now...." Specs reasoned.
"Unless.... he ran way..." Aloha sobbed.
"OR UNLESS SOMEONE ELSE TOOK HIS BODY!!!!!" Skull exclaimed.

"What kind of heartless creature would do that?" Headphones asked.

"Where there any signs of stress or depression in his life....?' Moona asked"
"Well... actually yeah..... The last meeting we had.... he seemed horrified and paranoid...." Rider said.
"Was anything going on in his life that you guys were aware of?" Moona questioned.

"Well one things for sure... Team Order's loss did make him a bit frightened...... but-" Rider started.
"HE WAS NEVER THE SAME AFTER GETTING A JOB AT THE FIELD RESEARCH FACILITY!!!!" Aloha shouted.
"Weeee cant just assume it was the work place...." Mask said.
"yeah..... but......"

"You really think it was a simple origination job that caused him this.... he enjoys that stuuuuff"
"you're right....."

After everyone left Aloha sneaked back into Army's house via his bed room window. Aloha knew Army kept a daily log. He had a feeling that if there was something that happened, Army was bound to have wrote it down in his log. He hoped it would hold the answers to this tragic mystery.
