Chapter 10: Insert Assert

    Vintage laughed maniacally at the terror in their eyes. Emperor wanted to attack Vintage, but he knew that would sadly end up as futile effort. Vintage was ranked as Rank X, the highest rank ever known since S+. The strongest to exist. Soon, out from the darkness of the nearby alleyway, the rest of his team emerged. Vintage's team of X ranked inklings, some call them the X4, but they prefer the name Team X Blood.
"EEEK! I don't like them," Moona whispered, "They scare me."
"They are nothing but a gang of ruffians, scoundrels, and brutes," Emperor huffed, "They have no right to be snooping around in royal business!"
"Snooping, are we Empey?~" an eerie girlish voice called.
"OH NO!!! NOT YOU!!!!" Emperor shouted, "HELP!!! RED SOLE IS BACK!!!!"
"You're not going anywhere!~" Red Sole said before chasing and tackling him.
"Red sole.... please get off him...." the other girl from the X blood team said, Vintage growled at her to get her to shut up.
"Oh don't worry Omega, He's fine!" Red Sole said, "Now come on Empey, you have a date with Chopper!~"
"WHAT!?!" Emperor exclaimed, "WHO!?!"
"Chopper is my new knife set!~" Red Sole giggled as she dragged him into the bushes.
"UNHAND ME YOU WITCH!!!!!!" Emperor demanded, "HELP!!!!!"

"When you're done, bring me his boots and earring, you can keep his jacket," Vintage laughed.
"You monster!" Skull shouted.
"Oh, I know. I am a monster," Vintage said in a teasingly gentle tone.
"You are dooming yourself by preventing us from saving the agents that protect us!!!" Aloha shouted.
"WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF INKLINGS I DON'T KNOW OR CARE ABOUT!!!" Vintage snapped.
"BECAUSE AGENTS 1 AND 2 ARE THE SQUID SISTER-" Aloha went silent when he realised what he just did, broke his promise, "OOPS!!!!"
"THE SQUID SISTERS, AGENTS!?" Red Sole said, pulling her knife away from Emperor's neck, "OOOOO!!! HOW THE HORIZON OF INTEREST EXPANDS!!!!"
"You are not going to kill them you wicked witch of insanity!!!" Emperor growled.
Vintage thought for a second, "yes.... we are not going to kill them. With this new information, we will help you," he said.
Omega began to speak, "Vintage if you are doing this just to-"
"SILENCE!!! YOUR OPINION MEANS NOTHING TO ME!!! YOU ARE SECOND IN COMMAND!!! YOU STILL HAVE NOT CHOICE, BUT TO LISTEN TO ME!!!" Vintage shouted.

"I am 3 hours older than you...." Omega mumbled.
"WHAT WAS THAT!?!" Vintage exclaimed.
"n-nothing... nevermind..." she whimpered.
"THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT!!!! YOU REALLY ARE PATHETIC, NO WONDER I HAD TO WATCH OVER YOU!!!" Vintage hissed.

Omega went silent, Vintage was always like this, cruel and demanding. She knew he was up to something she was against, but he never let her speak her mind. She was trapped, but she knew that this trip might be the fight that would set her. She wants a say in defining her identity. She won't be silenced and she won't be nullified.

As the walked to the metro, Emperor was constantly annoyed by the evil chuckling of Team X Blood. He was relieved to see Gloves.
"Oh thank cod, another inkling I know I can trust," he sighed, grateful to see Gloves' face.
"Yeah, what you all doing.... together," Gloves asked.
Vintage glared at him, "It's none of your business you low ranked son of a-"
"We are going to save the agents from Kamabo Co!" Moona exclaimed, 'AND GETTING REVENGE!!!"
"SO COOL!" Gloves exclaimed, "CAN I HELP!?!?"
"NO YOU CANNOT!!!" Vintage shouted, "It's bad enough I'm even helping you!"
Vintage, Red Sole, and Double Egg pushed past Gloves violently shoving him from one side to the other causing him to land on the ground. Gloves looked up and saw Omega approaching him.
"NO!" He screamed, "DON'T HURT ME!" He turned away covering his face, bracing himself for the pain. Nothing happened to him. "Huh?" he said confused. He looked up and saw Omega was offering a kind hand to help him get up. "Y-you're from X Blood, w-why are you helping me?" he asked her while she helped him up.

"I am nothing like Vintage," she said in a monotone voice, "We may be siblings, we might have been born twins, but I am nothing like my brother!"
"B-brother!?!" Emperor stuttered.

"WHAAAAT!?" Aloha exclaimed, "I DON'T GET THIS AT ALL!?! I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU TWO WERE DATING!?!?!"
"Ewwww," Skull said.
"I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE SIBLINGS!!!!! SO DON'T 'EW' ME, SKULL!!!" Aloha shouted.
"B-but if you two are siblings-" Gloves started.
"Why is he treating you like a peasant and why do you look so miserable all the time?" Emperor asked.
"Kinda like your brother before going 1 on 1 with Goggles?~" Aloha asked in a teasing way.
"WILL YOU STOP FLIRTING!!!!!" Emperor shouted.

Vintage heard them talking about him and charged towards Omega, he had enough of her rebelliousness. He shot her. Everyone screamed thinking Vintage killed her. She stood back up.
"WHEN YOU HURT ME AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, DON'T EXPECT ME TO SHED ANY TEARS IN THE END!!! THE BLOOD THAT YOU SPILLED CAN NEVER BE UNDONE!!! WHEN I SEE YOU FALL TO THE GROUND, AFTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME, DON'T EXPECT ANY SYMPATHY!!!" Omega shouted before fighting back. She had enough of the torcher.
"YOU'LL GET NO MERCY FROM ME!!!!" Vintage shouted as the two fought each other.
"YOU ARE THE WORST SIBLING I EVER MET!!!" Omega shouted dodging his shots.

"YOU FORGET SISTER, I LACK A SOUL!!!" He shouted back.
"OH I DIDN'T FORGET!!!" She looks up and sees Sanitized Octolings, "Just don't care."
She lead Vintage into a trap. Vintage screams as he is captured by the sanitized. She wanted to cry about the fate of her brother but she didn't see any reason to, she was finally free!
