Chapter 2: The Boy with the Blue Eyes

This school is weird. Oh wait I never told you...I'm new to this school. My brother and I had to transfer schools last month when there was a school shooting. Ya it was pretty bad...anyways this school is different. But a good different. Its not as sketchy as my last one...which is great.
After math, I checked my schedule and saw I had english next. Yay! Surprisingly I kinda like english...Ya I know I'm weird...
I walk into class to see everyone talking to their friends in small groups spread out around the room...oh great...I walk over to the teacher since there's no where else to go.
She sees me coming to her, "Hello I'm Miss Blanchard! You must be the new student, Thalia right?" "Hi and yes I suppose I am" I say. Wow she seems perky. "Ok silence class!" The class shuts up immediately. "Good morning. Today we have a new student, Thalia Summers. Tell us a little bit about yourself, Thalia." Crap. I can't speak in public! "Um h-hi" great you stuttered "I'm Thalia and I have lived here in North Carolina my whole life, I play guitar and um that about sums me up..." I say looking at the ground. "Ok that's very interesting Thalia...you can sit in the back corner in that empty chair over there."
She points to my spot which is seated next to a very attractive boy with charming blue eyes. I walk over and take a seat. I look to the boy next to me and he's already staring at me. "Um hello?" I say uneasily. He breaks his stare and responds "Uh hi! I'm Nash." "Hello nice to meet you." "Nice to-" "NASH! Stop flirting and work on your assignment!" I let out a small giggle and he does the same. "Sorry for getting you in trouble." "Oh it was nothing...it happens all the time." Ok wait what? I guess he saw my confused facial expression cuz next he said, "Oh um I didn't mean..." "Haha it's ok I gotcha" wow this is awkward.
We both silently chat a little more until class ends. I find out that I have the next 3 classes with Nash! Hes a gnarly dude {anyone see what I did there :)}.
I go through my next classes and until it's lunch. I walk into the huge cafeteria to see about 20 big tables with girls and guys sitting there. All of them are filled. I have no idea where to go until Nash runs into me knocking over my can if soda. " Oh Hey I'm so sorry" he says picking it up. "Oh it's no problem" I respond "hey uh do you have anywhere to sit?" He asks. "Um not really..." I say. "Want to sit with my friends and I?" He asks. " that'd be great! Thanks!" "Anytime."

We walk over to his table and I see a bunch of other guys at the table. "Hey guys this is Thalia, she's new here." "Hey" they all say. "Hi" I say shyly. Nash introduced them all to me and I only caught a few names: Taylor, Cameron, Jacob, and Aaron. We all just talked and ate our food until it was time to go to the next class.

I was heading to my locker when someone tripped me and I fell in the middle of the hallway and heard laughter. I look up to see who tripped me and a group of about 5 slutty looking girls looked down at me laughing. I stood up and was about to go to my locker when one of them, the leader I'm guessing grabbed my arm and pulled me to the wall. "Hey listen bitch you stay away from Nash and OUR boys or you will regret it!" She slaps me and storms away.

Wow what just happened. Nash must've seen what happened because he rushed up to me with Taylor and Cam. "Hey OMG are you ok? I'm so sorry about them they are idiots! I don't know what she's talking about!" "Ya I'm fine thanks..." I grabbed my books for me next classes and never said another word the whole time I was at school...
