The Prank

There is a perfectly good explanation for this! I panicked as a very upset, completely pink Dumbledore looked at me and the twins as Lee tried to hide a cage behind him. Two very angry teachers on each side of him. Snape, with flaming red hair and McGonagall, with bright green hair. The great hall is currently in chaos. Food is being flung across the room as all types of animals are running freely as broken plates and cups lay on the floor being trampled on by frantic students. So, it could have been worse.

I would like to hear it McGonagall said as she crossed her arms. Lee and I looked at the twins at the same time as they looked at us.

So I dont really know how to explain it. It took me a whole chapter to explain what happened to the readers. Well, you can think about it in detention. Now get to class, the lot of you!

5 hours earlier

So you want me to help you with a prank? I ask Fred and George as we sit in the Gryffindor common room. Of course everyone else was in class, which Ri is going to kill me later for skipping. Lee Jordan was in here too but I have no idea what he is supposed to be doing. Hes holding a hairbrush and yelling out Gryffindor wins every now and again.

Yeah we thought it might be fun Fred beamed

Omg this sounds awesome! I said excitedly. With everything thats been going on I havent been able to bother and annoy anyone and it sucks, I said. The twins looked confused. So what have you got planned? That definitely got their attention. George grabbed a chalkboard from behind the wall. Was that there the whole time? George brought over towards us and spun it around showing a bunch of weird drawings. Do you guys know how to label? Cause you guys are terrible at drawing Fred grabbed his chest dramatically.

This is a masterpiece! He yelled and gestured his hands towards the board. Sure.

Slytherin in possession - Flint with the quaffle - passes spinner - passes Bell - hit hard in the face by the bludger, hope it broke his nose - Gryffindor takes back the ball!" Lee Jordan starts yelling in his hair brush. Oh he was practicing for Gryffindor Vs Slytherin Quidditch game on the weekend. That makes him look a little less weird I guess. Wait what was the name of the Slytherin seeker again? Terry? Taren? Terence! That's it!

"Bell goes towards the ring and"

"Terence catches the golden snitch - Slytherin wins!" I scream cutting off Lee.

"Nooooo!" Lee falls to the ground dramatically. "Final score 85 - 76 Slytherin, Whyyy!?" Lee sobs. The twins and I laugh.

"Can you help us with the prank now?" I ask. Lee glares at me, mumbling out a fine in the process. He gets up and dusts himself off.

"What's the plan?" Lee asks as he sits beside me on the couch. The twins grin in unison

"So we were thinking of instead of just a pink beard"

"We turn him completely pink. Clothes, hair, shoes everything." Nice.

"What if we turn Snape's hair red and McGonagall's hair green as well," I said. And so it began the planning for the big opening prank to begin the year. Lee and I would occasionally input our ideas but most of it was the twins. An hour later our classes had finished and the perfect prank was set.

Okay, we have four hours till twelve oclock, So we should split up and grab everything we need, I said, concluding our meeting. Jordan and I had to go to the care of magical creatures classroom and grab as many harmless animals as we could. While the twins had to go steal the potions from Snape's classroom.
