Jimin and Jungkook have been best friends for nearly their entire lives. They met when Jimin had fallen off a swing on the playground and Jungkook helped him up and took care of his bleeding wounds so gently. They were only 6 years old, but Jimin knew this was the love of his life.
His one-sided love grew year after year, Jungkook didn't know of his best friend's true feelings. Jimin couldn't face any rejection if he revealed his true feelings, mostly because Jungkook never showed him anything other than brotherly love. He always "dated" girls, never showing an interest in guys. So Jimin stayed silent, always having to comfort his best friend when his heart was broken by another girl. He could never figure out why girls would keep going in and out of his best friend's life? He was good at everything and so kind.
Jungkook always thought of his best friend first. Whenever anything good or bad happened in his life, his best friend Jimin came to mind first. He always had to share. They laughed, played, ate and slept together. He tried to get Jimin to double date with him, but Jimin would always decline, Jungkook just thought he was shy with girls. He didn't push, he didn't want to argue with Jimin. He never liked to see him cry, he would always comfort him and vice versa.
When they were 14, Jungkook's parents were in an accident and passed away, he was beyond devastated. Jimin helped him through it, always promising him to never leave him, he confessed his love without Jungkook realizing. After the funeral and after Jungkook's grandfather had moved into the family home, Jimin found his friend drunk, barely able to keep his head up. He just wanted to stop being sad and remembering his loss. Jimin helped his best friend get on his bed, like so many times before. "Jungkook, let me get this stuff off you, you can't sleep in your shoes." "Ok, Jiminie, strip me!" Jungkook answered laughing. Once he had Jungkook's shoes and pants off he was in his boxers and an oversized white tee shirt. He pulled the covers to Jungkook's neck and began stroking his dark locks, pushing them off his face.
"You're going to be ok, Kook. I'll be right here for you, don't worry." Jimin said, memorizing each feature of his loves face. Jungkook smiles up at his best friend, " I know, you'll never leave me, huh?" "Of course not, you're too important to me." "Ok, Jiminie," Jungkook cocked his head and brought his hand to Jimin's face, "You know, if you were a girl, you would be my girlfriend. You are so beautiful; your lips are so kissable..." With that, Jungkook pulled Jimin's head to his and met his lips with his sloppy drunk ones. Jimin was shocked and started to pull away, but Jungkook pulled him closer, he may have been drunk but he still knew how to kiss. He licked Jimin's bottom lip and pushed his tongue into Jimin's sweet mouth. It tasted like candy. Jungkook wanted more, the lust he felt for his best friend was nothing like he'd ever experienced before. No girls' lips were as soft and tasty as Jimin's. Jungkook pulled away from his shocked friend, tenderly biting Jimin's bottom lip. Jungkook smiled and laid his head in the pillow, "goodnight Jiminie, I love you." With that he passed out, leaving his best friend shocked, but slightly happy, maybe he finally loves him back?! "I love you too Kookie." Jimin covered up his friend again, shut off the light and went to his own house, feeling giddy and light.
