Jikook: Marriage of Convenience

    "Our next guests today are from South Korea..." Tae, Namjoon, Hobie, and Yoongi settles Jungkook down in the green room while their protégés went on stage to be interviewed by Ellen. "Guys, I'm going to be a daddy!" Jungkook excitedly told them. "Who the fuck did you fuck, Jungkook!" Yelled Namjoon. "Yeah, what the fuck? I thought you wanted to make things right with Jimin, what the fuck dude?" Hobie had his shirt between his hands, pulling the raven haired man up viciously. Tae finally intervened , "guys stop, its Jimin. He's the one pregnant." The trio turned around, "what? Explain." They demanded.

     Jungkook played with the matching bracelets on his wrist, one was for his husband, his pregnant husband. He sat silent as Tae explained Jimin's condition and passed the pamphlet around so the other boys could see what they were talking about. Jimin was special and they were going to be uncles! 

     "I know you've cleaned up your act Jungkook," Yoongi says, which was unusual since he's usually the quiet one, "do not break his heart or I will break you. Got it?" The maknae gulped, "yoongi, I know, I love him, I swear and this baby," he smiles a dreamy smile, "this baby just means we're meant to be. And now I have to fix this. I have to get him back."

     "Yeah kook, but right now he is very very very pissed at you." Tae reminds him. "But I also know Jin said he's going to calm Jimin down so you both can talk. I hope with that recording he'll believe us. I really want to see him happy. Please don't be fucking with him ok?"

     Jungkook was half listening, half thinking about everything that's happened since Jimin left him. He needs to make this right. He knows that he's fallen in love with his husband, now he has to convince Jimin of it. "Tae, will you please see when I can see Jimin. Do you have his number?"

Back at The Guest house
     Jin had gotten dinner for himself and Jimin, no salt, barely any fats and no soda just milk. While Jimin wasn't a fan of the bland foods he's been subjected to, but he'll bare it for the baby. His baby, his and Jungkook's. Now that he knows about the baby Jimin determines that nothing will change since he's still under the impression that Jungkook has another family in Korea.
    
     "Jimin we need to talk about Jungkook," Jin begins after dinner and while Jimin has been resting and relaxing, rubbing his belly calming the baby down, tracing circles over his belly.  A calming effect on himself too. Jimin lazily looks over at Jin, "Jin, I-I..what should I say? What can I say? He knows now about the baby, but why should that change anything?" The tears are welling in his eyes. He's trying so hard to not let Jungkook's presence bother him, but it was hard. He has been in love with the maknae since he can remember, before he realized he was gay. But the hurt and embarrassment was overwhelming and now that Jungkook has another child in Korea with Lisa who is Jimin to stand in the way. He can just continue on here in America with Jin and raise his baby alone.

     Telling his plans to Jin made the elder clench his jaw, "Jimin I need you to listen to this." He takes out his phone and plays the recording that Jungkook sent him. While Jimin listened to the conversation between his husband and Lisa, silent tears fell. With an unsteady voice, "how do I know this is real? How do I know that this isn't a fake recording?" Jin sighed, "ok, what would it take for you to believe that Jungkook has changed?"

     Jimin had sat there for a few minutes, what would it take? He didn't know because people can and do lie for their own benefit. "I don't know Hyung. I can't believe this recording, Jungkook could have made her say those words. And they're only words, there's no real proof." Jin was growing frustrated. He got up, knelt by Jimin on the couch, "what of the rest of the guys told you their observations? Would that help you believe Jungkook has changed?" Jimin pondered the question, his friends, who had never lied to him about Jungkook before but he left, he didn't know what had happened between the five of them in the last few months. Could he trust then?  He finally relented, "ok Hyung, I'll talk to them and see what they say," this made Jin clap his hands loudly startling Jimin.
