The days turned into weeks, It took jimin no time at all to redecorate his and Jungkook's offices. It was determined that Jimin would be one of the staff to weed out the food from the poor singers and dancers. It was hard for Jimin to tell someone they weren't talented instead with his kind heart he would get to know the person and direct them into a different career they were more suited for. He was quite good at it.
Jungkook's position was to budget those talents and make them be musical groups. He figured out which trainees belonged together. He was also in charge of the budget for the whole company. He had to make sure they didn't spend too much.
Jin and Tae's jobs were to find sponsors for the company and for the groups that they were forming. Hobie's job was to train them to dance to their own music, he was strict but fair. And finally Namjoon and Yoongi's job was to write the songs and create the music for each group. All seven of the boys would lend a hand to the other and would even sing some of their songs to show the trainees how to sing properly.
Jimin could sit for hours and listen to his husband sing, he had the voice of an angel. The same was true for Jungkook. He loved to listen to Jimin sing everywhere, in the kitchen when he cooked, in the shower, in the car, in the office, he hummed when he searched for talent, he basically was a singing machine, and Jungkook loved to hear Jimin's sweet voice.
Jimin had noticed that he had started to put some weight on so he stopped eating so much junk food. He didn't want to be chubby, he used to have such chubby cheeks but worked hard to lose them. It was close to his birthday so he didn't want to be bloated for his birthday pictures. He still hadn't gotten over his stomach bug, he sometimes would dry heave since he didn't eat the day before because he was gaining weight, that was the worst. But he truly didn't have time to go to the doctor so he just masked it and kept going. He'd get better eventually.
The group of six friends decided to get together a week before Jimin's birthday to set up his surprise. Jimin was so smart they had to be sneaky. Jungkook and his grandfather had sent Jimin to go over the newest group of trainees. It was a group of 12 boys so they had plenty of time to plan for the birthday party.
Namjoon spoke first, "so Jungkook how's married life?" He asked and Tae wiggles his eyebrows in a perverted manner. Jungkook just frowned at Tae's strange behavior. "It's fine. Why do you ask?" "Just wondering," he didn't further the conversation with a look from Jin. "So I'm assuming we're here for Jiminie's birthday?" Jin states to the group. "Yep! This year will be tough. We've always had a party for him on his birthday, so maybe we need to change the party day?" Jungkook suggested. "Maybe the day before to really surprise him? What do you all think?" The group looked at each other and agreed, knowing how hard it was to surprise Jimin. They all took different jobs for the party.
Jungkook decided to have a special day for him and Jimin at their apartment on his birthday. He wanted to cook for him, give him the attention he hadn't been able to the last month and a half since they returned from Japan. He also wanted to sing him the newest song he wrote. It was dedicated to Jimin and how much he meant to Jungkook. He wasn't just his husband but best friend too. He was very excited for this event. He was starting to realize how special Jimin was. Just thinking of how Jimin would smile at give him hugs for the present made Jungkook grin from ear to ear.
October 12
Jimin received a text message from Jungkook's grandfather telling him that they had more trainees that he needed to observe. He huffed since he hadn't felt well that day spending half and hour in his own bathroom at home then visiting the bathroom several times at the office. He knew he needed to see a doctor and would after his birthday, because why spoil his own birthday? The address was the studio that the boys had, which was odd but Jimin knew there was a dance floor and recording equipment there so it wasn't that unusual.
