Chapter Twenty-Three: Nightmare's

Error's POV:

Run. Keep on running. Don't stop.

"Glitch! Get back here!" I heard her scream from behind me.

No No no no no no no no no! She'll shatter me if I don't leave! I can't have that done to Classic!

"You mistake, stop running!" She ordered from a hall behind me. Never. I will always run if it means Classic is safe. I jumped out of the window at the end of the hall.

"I'll Get you back Glitch! Always remember that you're my toy!" She yelled after me.

I didn't stop running. For who knows how long, I ran. I didn't look back. I eventually collapsed as my legs felt as if they were on fire. I'm panting heavily as I tried to force myself up. I can't stop. Not now.

"Sir Are you okay?!" I heard a voice call out. I look up, scanning the area wildly onto to see Blue. Oh, thank the stars it's him and not Fate...

"Oh, my stars! What happened to you?! Are you okay?!" He interrogated me as he helped me up, scanning over my scars and applying small bursts of healing magic to each one that he could see.

"Y-You need not worry about what happened. B-But yes I think I'm o-okay..." I replied as I caught my breath. I tried to stand only for the moral side kept me down.

"You shouldn't try standing. You're not healed completely." He ordered. I sighed but gave in. Once he has his mind made up, there's no going back.

"Oh Glitchy~!" A voice called out as I shot my head up. I hurriedly stood up and picked up Blue. I started to run again, not going the same direction for long.

"What's going on?" Blue wondered worriedly as I ran, him in my arms. Every time I heard footprints behind me, I changed direction.

"No Time to explain. We need to leave." I responded, spotting a cave upwards.

I headed to the side of the mountain and immediately ran up the convenient path. Rocks fell behind us, ironically, as I rushed us inside the cave. I placed Blue down deep in the cave as I peeked outside. I sigh softly as I see no side of Fate.

"Sir, what's going on?" Blue asked as I returned to him. I sat down across from him. He automatically came over and started to heal me again.

"That Voice... It's not from a kind person. To them, we are just toys. I couldn't let them harm you..." I sighed as I felt the years of torture and the time of me running catch up to me.

"Oh, But you are~." I heard a familiar voice purr. I turn around to meet Fate again. No... No no no no no no no!

"Fate..." I whispered out horrified. How did she find us?! How did she get up?!

"Didn't I tell you glitch? I said I'd get you back~. Besides, you're my toy~." Fate purred.

I forced Blue behind me and started to back us up as Fate came closer. I never noticed the figure in the shadows.

"Oh, What's this~? Another side~?" Fate hummed as she teleported to Blue. I turned us around so I'm in front of him and facing her.

"Leave him alone." I growled.

"And Why should I~?" Fate asked, stepping closer. I had Blue and I take a step back.

"You're Here for me, not him." I reminded her.

"True... But what's the fun in playing with an almost shattered side? Isn't that why you have that wall of yours? To prevent you shattering?" Fate giggled as I nudged Blue out. He took the hint and ran, thankfully. Fate didn't even notice that we slowly went to the exit.

"That's None of your concern." I huffed as I blocked the exit. She started to laugh loudly as she pulled out a knife.

"Nobody Has ever lasted this long! Wow, you're the best toy sofar!" She cackled as she approached me. I didn't move. She won't get to anyone else. Not on my watch.

"Too bad the others will be more fun to play with. After all, you stopped screaming." She hummed as she slashed me with the knife.
